The 'original' Shark Fin Restaurant was established in 1980 at the top end of the little Bourke Street. Close to the Parliament Station, Shark Fin Inn achieves it's excellence by serving the finest Cantonese food at affordable prices. With lunchtime Yum Cha, takeaway service and an extensive a La Carte and banquet menus, Shark Fin Inn has remained favourite of many despite some strong neighbouring contenders over the years. It gives customers a good chance to savour the famous dishes from Hong Kong without the expensive price tag of the air ticket - or the meal. Close to different bars, cafes and theatres and open until 1.30am daily, Shark Fin Inn is the best place for family gathering, business acquaintance, celebrating special occasions and late supper after a night out.

Overall, I had a great experience. I visited during a Monday lunchtime, which is understandable since it’s not peak time. As a result, there weren’t many yum cha carts available. I plan to return during peak time in the future. The food was delicious

Solid Yum Cha experience, especially at one of the busiest times of the year. Bit of a shame that all the variety items are taken before they arrive. Would be perfect in an off time!

Excellent food, great service. Easy parking on street or round the corner at a private car park. Pick up drop off out the front.

Have eaten at this restaurant before and as usual lives up to its reputation. The food was delivered within a very reasonable time and was as hot as it should be. Staff were very attentive and amiable. Would always recommend to anyone.

Very poor service. They kept forgetting to bring us a bottle of water & tea until the end, and tried to charge us 5 bottles water which we didn’t get. Asked if they had vegetable dishes, and they only said yes and never came back to us. Will never go back here.

We have dined here many times over the years. Always great food and reasonably priced. Walking distance from Parliament station.
