We booked the 50% offer which was good value for money. The restaurant ambience, aesthetic, and service was nice however the food was a bit lacklustre unfortunately. A couple dishes weren’t bad but generally everything lacked flavour and punch - which good indo-Chinese should have.

Great choice of menu Lovely restaurant (downstairs no windows but no problem) Staff fantastic - couldn't tip them because a new policy is that they can only accept cash tips. Sadly I was cashless. Recommend this place

First, your website should state this restaurant is located below another restaurant. So it’s a basement restaurant. Cozy yet elegant. Who knew?? Food was delicious & so were our drinks! Service was competent & served quickly. Definitely will return.

Shanghai Noir was excellent! Very mellow with great aesthetica for intimate dining. The food was incredible but a tad overpriced for what we purchased but nevertheless it was a great experience

Great starters (papaya salad, chicken corn hot and sour soup and aromatic duck) and desserts (panna cotta and sorbets) but very disappointing mains - sea bream (cooked well but not much taste or flavour promised in the description), chicken black bean (lacking flavour and runny sauce which appeared to be the same as the sea bream on a short menu anyway), desi vegetable noodles (too salty) and jasmine rice (some grains still undercooked). It was confirmed that the kitchen was very busy attending to two three large party groups who arrived soon after our arrival. They were having the food from the Yaatra Indian restaurant which shares the same premises and kitchen. Very disappointing all the same as we have had really good food at Yaatra on a number of occasions with family. Hoping to have a better food experience at Shanghai Noir next time. The indo Chinese mains food quality and standard has to be much higher than what we experienced. Abhishek gave us attentive and professional service.
