   First time here and loved it. Great value for money as we had the pre-theatre menu and added items. Everything we ordered was delicious, I highly recommend the katsu chicken sando and the frozen yuzu margarita! We did end up receiving the miso aubergine instead of the salmon but we didn’t complain as it was tasty. Service was speedy and counter seating was still comfortable. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

   The food? Fab! The service ? Not so much… Booked a seat at the counter and the venue was pretty empty when we arrived at 6. After ordering food and 2 x drinks each, we were asked once more if we wanted a cocktail. We said yes but a few mins after we received them we were swiftly given the bill and got told they needed to ‘clear for the next guests’. While I totally get there’s a time limit to a table, don’t ask us to spend an extra £25 on cocktails for you to rush us out… so disappointing.

   Great food, and very reasonably price. Drinks were also lovely and cheap wine!

   We were recommended this place by friends who have visited often when in London. We were not disappointed! Absolutely first class! We ordered the taster menu and it was superb. The shiitake mushrooms so ‘meaty’ and bursting with flavour. The seabass ceviche was the highlight for me, absolutely delightful. Salmon tacos were really fresh and light. The prawn toast was like nothing I’d had before and melted in the mouth. Crispy yet light katsu chicken and curry sauce combined with uber-tasty miso aubergine and roasted peppers. So so good. To finish we had the toast and ice cream which topped off the evening amazingly. Oh, and try the frozen margarita…. Wowzer!!

   Set menu was delicious , the salmon tacos and prawn toast French toast are a must repeat.

    Food and service were pretty good but we were sat at our table 20 minutes after our booked time, making our pre-theatre meal feel very rushed.
