Their set lunch menu is a great deal with lots of dishes to choose from. We loved everything we've tried! Yellow fin rolls & salmon tartar top notch! Prawn tempura & gyonzas nicely executed. Baby chicken with yuzu sauce & terriaki salmon both delicious.

The night started very poorly like a b grade film! I booked a table at 7:30pm for valentines day only to be seated in the Coral room that had as much life as a washed up fish at Bournemouth Beach. Politely asked our waiter to check with the host if we could move back upstairs when a table becomes available but he said that wasn’t possible and started signing for us to help with our request of the lack of music and vibe down stairs. We had to order drinks a couple of times as we sat for 20 minutes with only 8 other tables which 3 were empty being looked after by 5 waitstaff. The staff all looked as if they were sent down stairs as punishment with no one seeming interested in serving any guest. After only receiving one of the drinks that was ordered I had enough and I approached the host upstairs to ask if it was possible to sit at the bar to which they were very accommodating and located a seat immediately. We moved upstairs and were looked after by a very competent lady behind the bar who provided stand out service for the rest of the night. The kind of service you would expect at such a high end establishment. The food was very high quality and the band / dj were on point for the rest of the night.

Not a bad place but definitely not value for money. The food was good but don't go there hungry you won't be satisfied. The potions were small unless you spend a ridiculous amount to get more food. Club vibe . We went for an anniversary dinner but it wasn't intimate enough. Overall worth a visit for the chic decor but only once.

TLDR: bad for gluten allergy, disappointing sushi quality, really really loud Came to SexyFish hoping for five star sushi experience, left feeling really disappointed. I ordered a salmon avocado roll, and was shocked at the poor quality of the fish. The meat was chewy, not tender and luxurious like how you might have at Sushi Samba. I was additionally frustrated as I have a gluten sensitivity and foolishly thought I would be able to eat most if not all of the sushi on the menu. It turns out most (but not all) of the rice is soaked in some gluten containing ingredient so much of the menu was off limits for me. I’m not sure why the non-gluten containing rice couldn’t be substituted for use in the other rolls? I guess I just felt surprised that a restaurant that was so large and well known would do so little to accommodate people with a very common sensitivity. The service was good, I do appreciate that our waitress was very kind and did her best. The space is very loud, we were unlucky and were sat next to a table that was extremely boisterous which didn’t exactly help improve the environment.

Amazing experience & lovely atmosphere. We had delicious drinks. Very fast service but lunch set menu food was average (plates not properly washed) and didn’t go well with the luxury vibes.
