The decor in this Japanese restaurant is striking with a sea creatures theme and the staff's clothes are unusual -very bright with a predominant red. The service was friendly and efficient. We opted for the £32 set lunch menu which has a number of choices for starters and mains. We were served a fruit & Vegetable Detox shot, followed by miso soup -tasty with a hint of spiciness. I had a Takoyaki Croquettes (filled with squid) and for the main Wagyu beef (a £36 suppliment) with 2 dips and steamed rice. It was delicious - melted in my mouth but at 2 oz the portion was too small (but this is a rare and very expensive dish). I finished with 2 doughnuts (£7 suppliment). The wines were expensive - I had a bottle of their cheapest chablis at £95. A very enjoyable dining experience.

One of the best Fusion Japanese in London from Japanese person point of view. Highly balanced good food, interior decor, and service. It’s a whole lot better than the sound of the restaurant name ‘Sexy Fish’ suggests.

We booked a table for 5:45 pm, expecting to enjoy the full two hours of sushi, but were never informed that last orders would be at 7 pm. This was a frustrating surprise, and it significantly impacted our experience. To make matters worse, we found a bug in the sushi that was served to us. We immediately brought this to the attention of our waiter, who took the dish back, only to return with what seemed to be the exact same food. It was incredibly disappointing that there was no apology, no offer of a replacement, and no compensation for such an unhygienic incident. Lastly, when it came time to leave, it took around 15 minutes to retrieve our coats and bags because staff couldn’t locate them. This added yet another level of frustration to an already poor experience. I had expected much better from Sexy Fish given its reputation, but this experience left us feeling ignored and let down.

I had very bad experience last night the porter refuse to let me in because I came 15 minute before my booking I had to beg him to let me in the bar because it’s cold he refused I never been treated this way !! It was my sister birthday and it’s just ruined !

Slightly sassy stand offish make host to start with … but once sat down the service and food was impeccable and beyond amazing , little touches like remembering me from last time I came was lovely , just unfortunate it started badly with the male host.

Fantastic restaurant! Fantastic food! Great venue for a business or any lunch to be fair. Staff were very attentive and the whole experience was superb.

I had an incredible time at Sexy Fish! The service was absolutely top-notch—10 out of 10. The staff paid attention to every detail, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was phenomenal, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. The music and vibe were just right, and the ambiance had a cool, vibrant energy that reminded me of a bit of TAO in Vegas. I highly recommend Sexy Fish to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back—this place is now one of my favorites!
