Standard of food for Sunday lunch was reasonable but the meal was let down by the waiting staff. They were not rude but neither were they welcoming. They did the bare minimum required but there was no obvious desire to ensure we enjoyed our visit. As the two staff serving us were the same I would suggest that this was lack of training. Front of house should be welcoming! A minor point, if you have the external doors open it would appreciated if the smokers are kept at a distance so we do not have to share their smoke while eating, not pleasant.

Had a very nice meal with my wife as it was her birthday But when I made the booking they did ask what the occasion was and was told birthday But they didn’t acknowledge it in any way So why ask Apart from this it was lovely meal and would go back when in the area (we were on holiday at the time)

The rump of lamb was disappointing. It was more like roast lamb with roast potatoes and a gravy which didn’t taste home made

Great Sunday lunch friendly service, we have eaten here a few times when we have been on holiday here before and it is always lovely food and good service. Highly recommend.

Brilliant! I'm gluten and dairy intolerant and put message on booking form. So wonderful to have staff then come to table and explain what they could adapt without me having to ask! So many places don't do this simple thing. Food was delicious, service couldn't have been better, music pleasant and quiet, fab, so we could have a conversation! THANK YOU, Seven Stars, for a 5 Star evening! We will be back and with friends.

From arrival, service excellent. The menu was comprehensive, and they were happy to adapt my choice (due to my current dietary needs). Food very, very good. We will return when back in area!

This used to be the place, very expensive. I think there's a lot to be fixed here. Dinner was good, it was okay I can't say anything other than over priced.
