We had booked a few days beforehand because of going to the matinee at the Empire Theatre Nobody was on hand to seat us but we got that sorted by asking at the bar. We ordered at 12.20 pm but no food arrived until 13.10 despite others all being served first even though we had ordered pretty quickly! The service was fine and just slow food delivery to blame . Eventually after 2 courses we left at 14.15 which was tight for the show. We won’t come again as we like to eat at 12 for the 2.30 show and not get anxious as it was just 3 of us !

We booked the pre theatre menu. We arrived and shown directly to our table. Menu's given and drinks order taken . Our drinks arrived and our food order taken. The staff were polite, attentive and organised. The time between courses was just enough, you didn't feel rushed. The food was well presented, hot , a good size portion and tasty.

The service was quite slow. Asked for limoncello spritz to drink and was told they didn’t have limoncello. Had aperol spritz instead which wasn’t fizzy at all - tasted as if they hadn’t put Prosecco in The food was o.k - nothing special. Had the 2 course pre theatre menu & with one drink each it cost £30 , so not cheap.

Great venue very near O2 Academy and central Liverpool. Food lovely and nice and hot. Good value for money. It was a little slow being served but as we had plenty of time before our concert it didn’t matter. We would definitely go there again.

I had tickets for the theatre which i know is only a short walk from the restaurant.I looked at the pre theatre menu online and it looked very good so booked table for 6.pm when i arrived shortly before 6 i advised we were booking 2 courses from the pre theatre menu and curtain up was 7.30. As the menu was advertised as pre theatre we assumed it wouild be time sensitive. The menu was different than the one on the website and slightly more expensive but i was fine with that. we ordered then waited i tried to attract the waiters attention but wth no success. Unfortunately having waited 40 mins and still no sign of starters even though we had advised we were ordering off pre theatre menu we could not afford to wait as, if mains were also slow to appear, we would have had to leave half way through meal. Booked for 6pm arrived before time which should have been adequate. Very disappointing service but food served around us looked amazing

Friendly helpful staff. Delicious food, I had Cabonara and creme brulee. Will definitely visit again when in Liverpool. Perfectly placed for a pre- theatre meal.

Booked table for 12 noon when restaurant was due to open. Staff unavailable to unlock door until 12:10. Asked at reception but just told there wasn't anyone there yet. Pretheatre lunch menu choice very poor/limited unless you like fried foods or curry.

I love dining here. Food tasted amazing as usual. The ambience was slightly ruined due to many customers complaining about how long they waited for food and about the food itself. Mine was great. I was half way through my starter when our drinks finally arrived so the service is slow. There were other little errors but I think one of the floor staff and kitchen staff might have been new so to be expected. Will be back.
