Located within the Grandscape development in The Colony, Texas, Seven Doors Kitchen & Cocktails is an approachable modern American grill serving chef-inspired shared plates and entrées. Named for our collection of French colonial doors from The 1800s that appear throughout the restaurant, Seven Doors has created a unique and uplifting environment for our diners to enjoy our great food & cocktails all served with love and gratitude.

Our waiter was very good. Restaurant was very loud and hard to hear yourself talk but nice ambiance The area has alot to do for the family so can go walk around after dinner. The eggplant was very good but our other meals were just okay.

I ordered the steak wedge with the candied bacon. The steak was raw in the middle, chewy on the edges. I asked for it to be prepared Medium Plus. There were 6 tiny crumbles of candied bacon. Our server was slammed and told us that they had just let 4 servers go home, so he was working tables in many sections. By the time he was able to get back to check on our meals, 10 minutes had gone by. I ate the lettuce and pushed the meat aside. Had our server not been spread so thin, perhaps he would have noticed that my meal was poorly prepared. My daughter had the shrimp salad and it was very good. Overall, this was a disappointing meal and experience.

Our server was absolutely excellent! There seem to be a disconnect between the kitchen and the servers though as after we ordered our drinks, appetizer and entrées about five minutes later one entrée arrived,before the drinks and appetizer even came out. Our server noticed that was not usual went back and talked to the kitchen and then about 10 minutes later the other entrée came out. The food was delicious, but there was just a disconnect going on last night.

Dined here for Veteran's Day. Seven Doors is one of our favorite restaurants and our party of 4 were not disappointed. The prime rib special and the 8-ounce filet were amazing. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The twice baked potato and seasonal vegetables were the perfect accompaniment. The wild shrimp scampi gets an enthusiastic thumbs up. There was a disconnect in the service. The side salads came out at the same time as our entrees. Our server Ariana provided friendly service. The dining room was very noisy making it very difficult to maintain a conversation.

The owners were there and immediately fixed my wife's order of well done prime rib. They were sitting next to us and heard her return her order. They were so friendly and accommodating. The well done prime rib was fantastic and my Wife loved it too. Definitely a great restaurant with a great staff and great owners. Will be back!
