Food really missed the mark. Unfortunately my second visit to Serinas didn’t meet the expectations I had from my first visit back in May. Started off with ordering some drinks then about ten minutes later two starters and two mains. The starters came before the drinks. My starter was potato skins with sour cream, it arrived, the lowest about of skins to be able to call it plural (2 for £9.50, madness) with gravy? Confused I had to wait until our drinks arrived to have it changed as no one came anywhere near our table. They changed it with no problem but by then my food was cold and my friend had finished hers. For our mains we both wanted the sirloin steak, unfortunately they all but 1 had run out of sirloin by 7.30 so my friend had to have the fillet. Some time passed and I was told there was an issue with my steak, I had asked for rare and was informed it wasn’t taking so mine would be more medium rare. I said that’s fine and I was told the chef had cut into it. When my steak arrived it was completely sliced up and on its way to being well done. There was only a slight hint of pink left on some pieces, but it was mainly brown. This is not something I could eat and unfortunately I had to send it back. I was offered a beef rib, which took a while to come out so again my friend had finished her main before I’d begun trying to eat my replacement. Whilst it was tender, it lacked any flavour at all and the roast potatoes we anaemic and slathered in rosemary. By this point I had given up on the idea of food and really couldn’t stomach any more attempts at a main course. Serinas staff very kindly took my main course off the bill and we received a complimentary shot, but I still paid almost £50 for drinks, two cold potato skins and a few green beans. I was informed by staff the regular chef is on holiday so perhaps I will venture back when they’ve returned!

Charming restaurant treasure in the heart of Farnham - this is a fantastic restaurant with friendly, helpful staff, a tempting menu and an excellent chef. You can also bring your doggie friends; gluten-free options are on the menu. We will definitely be visiting again!

Visited Serina on Friday for the first time and had a table downstairs for the four of us. Food was excellent: Jacobs Ladder x2, Mussels and Brisket all delicious and presented well. Georgia looked after us from the moment we set foot inside, her service was spot on, engaging with some light hearted chat while attending to all our requests including a few cocktails that weren’t on the menu and arranging a taxi for us at the end of the evening. What more could you ask for! This is definitely a restaurant we would recommend and when we’re back in Farnham it’ll be our first choice. A small piece of feedback; the live music was good but too loud for us to continue our table conversation - dial it down a tad and the evening would be perfect!

Our waiter Luke was amazing. Very attentive, great sense of humour and didn’t rush us out. Food was delicious and they even rustled up a cheese board which was fabulous. We had one member of the party who has a good intolerance but it was no problem for the restaurant. Will certainly be back again very soon.

A very warm welcome by Emma, who continued her excellent service throughout our meal and took very good care of us. Good food choice and our order was beautifully cooked. Live music was a nice addition to Friday night, which served as good background noise as we were seated upstairs. Highly recommend this restaurant

Relaxed atmosphere. Great roast dinner and very good service. Good selection of wines selected to match the food. Was a particularly hot day and too hot to eat in the garden - which looked lovely. Air conditioning would be a nice addition in the restaurant.

The food was very average given the price point aiming for. Our starters were poorly concieved with prawns having shells on but then covered in a thick sauce and no finger bowl of water provded. The mains were cold and lacking in flavour, again wouldn't be so bothered if had the price been cheaper. The staff were lovely and very friendly, just let down big time by the kitchen. Potentially a really nice place, just haven't got the food right.
