Serena Rooftop is an open-air terrace restaurant and bar located on the second floor of the Moxy South Beach Hotel. Modeled after Oaxaca’s iconic rooftops, Serena serves cocktails and contemporary Mexican cuisine for brunch, lunch and dinner. A domed canopy made of cast iron and strung with twinkling lights and bougainvillea shelters the all-outdoor dining area. Serena Rooftop is a beautiful outdoor restaurant complete with a domed canopy made of cast iron and strung with twinkling lights and bougainvillea in addition to an electric roof, to be enjoyed all year round.

**Please note we serve a smaller and more limited menu daily from 3:30PM to 6:00PM for our transition to dinner service, as well as Happy Hour from 3PM-6PM.

Great ambiance in cute south beach location of the Moxy Hotel. Staff and service were fantastic. Food was decent but not a 5-star. Drinks were fantastic. Don’t miss the swings at the bar and arrive early to have a cocktail and take in the open rooftop. Don’t worry if you experience later afternoon showers which are coming to Florida, Serena has an electronic roof. All and all, good experience.

Food was wonderful. The rooftop experience was great as well. The only knock I’d give is that the service was slower than other experiences we had in Miami. Would still go again!

Arrived late to reservation but there were plenty of tables open so we were sat down quickly. Took a little while to get to order so we ordered drinks and food all at once. Drinks were pretty good, but the food took a while to come out. That was confusing as there were many tables open. Food came out and was delicious so that made up for the long wait.

Kitchen was closed , couldn’t order food so we had to go to another restaurant. However, the staff was able to serve drinks .

We had an amazing dinner! Love the cocktails and guacamole. The salsa trio was outstanding. Thomas was one of the best servers we've had in a while. He was friendly and on point. My salmon melted in my mouth. The fish tacos had delicious flavor. Love the atmosphere, just wish the three bartenders were more communicative and welcoming for us to enjoy after-dinner drinks.

Great energy the moment you walk in. The food was delicious. The drinks were too. Fell in love with the cozy roof top bar. Great for Sunday brunch.

The drinks took 20 minutes to make and we waited for 90 minutes for food to come. Which was 2 small fish tacos and a sandwich with fries. Drinks where also often forgotten. Worse service I have received in Miami.
