Serena Rooftop is an open-air terrace restaurant and bar located on the second floor of the Moxy South Beach Hotel. Modeled after Oaxaca’s iconic rooftops, Serena serves cocktails and contemporary Mexican cuisine for brunch, lunch and dinner. A domed canopy made of cast iron and strung with twinkling lights and bougainvillea shelters the all-outdoor dining area. Serena Rooftop is a beautiful outdoor restaurant complete with a domed canopy made of cast iron and strung with twinkling lights and bougainvillea in addition to an electric roof, to be enjoyed all year round.

PARKING: We offer $5 valet parking if you have a Florida license or use code SERENA24 for a first ride FREE with Alto (up to $60 value).

Please note we serve a limited menu daily from 3:30PM to 6PM as well as Happy Hour from 3PM-6PM.

The food and atmosphere was amazing but they messed up our entire order. They brought our food to the table next to us. When we asked where some of our missing items were they realized. By the time our dinner came out we never got our appetizers. It was disappointing because the food we did have was so good and it would be such a cool rooftop restaurant.

This rooftop restaurant is not only beautifully designed in the best Miami Beach way, the food is creative and terrific. This is the third time we've been here, and we are never disappointed. (Tho we have learned not to come when the DJ is playing because we can't hear to converse with our friends.) It was our friends' first time and they loved both the fun atmosphere and the food. My mezcal margarita was fabulous -- I could tell I was definitely in a Mexican restaurant where they knew what they were doing -- and the others had Pacifico beers. We all shared dishes: Chile rellenos, short rib barrio tacos and pollo (chicken) tinga flautas. Each was delightfully flavorful, but the flautas were our favorite. We finished up by sharing a lemon curd pavlova for dessert, a very fun touch.

Kitchen service was slow even though it wasn't busy. Drinks were fantastic and wait staff was great, food was fine. Would recommend for drinks.

We went specifically for unlimited tacos & $5 margaritas. Was so good! DJ was playing live. Fun vibe. Raj took care of our group & we had an awesome ladies night for our group of friends.
