    Our meal was outstanding in every possible way. We loved the Wahoo Curado, the Pink Moon Oysters from PEI, the Brailed Beef Cheeks which melted in our mouths, the Arroz de Carabineiro was fantastic and, as always, we loved the bread and butter. Our server, Sandra, was terrific, and so was everyone else led by Christian.

    The food was delicious but the service was second to none. We’ve been to Alma in Lisbon and was excited to try Sereia and it didn’t disappoint.

    Sereia is superb… we have appreciated Portuguese food for years but to try it in the context of modern cuisine was incredible. Dishes were extremely tasty and yet light (Portuguese cuisine is not exactly known for being ‘light’). The quality is exceptional, served with care and purpose, and beautiful to look at! The shrimp in garlic is insane (forget about those over garliced and oily gambás al ajillo from Spanish restaurants) - these are light and aromatic and the shrimps are some of the freshest I have ever tried in Miami! The cod is an experience; once again, devoid of all the heavy ingredients and crowned by a simple raw egg that takes it to another level - I could have had two portions it was so delicious. The scallops were nice and salty in an espuma with caviar, perfect to get the taste buds ready for the experience to come. The chicken Piri Piri was true to its heritage as asserted by a fellow diner from Africa and used to fantastic Portuguese-inspired food from Mozambique. Desserts were amazing, and the Portuguese are know to excel in their desserts! Sweet rice but dialed up with a cream that looked like meringue but had a yogurt base - mind blowing. The deconstructed Pastel De Nata, a religious experience! And the pudim that was anything but pedestrian. The wine selection was respectable and we ended our meal with a small glass of Ginja - a sour sherry liqueur… NOT to be missed! We felt like we were in Óbidos! All hail to the modern Portuguese cuisine - Chef Enrique Sa Pessoa and team delivers beautifully! This will be a place to go back, over and over again!

    We walked in on a rainy evening to find out if our outdoor reservation could be accommodated inside, and were greeted by smiling Symran who assured us they would. The entire staff was warm and friendly throughout our meal. Wendy, our server, explained all the complex dishes carefully and was happy to let us taste wines to decide what was the best match for each course. And yes, the food more than met our expectations. We ordered from the Miami spice menu, which was a great introduction to their Portuguese cuisine. We look forward to returning.

    Food was great, our waiter was great. The rest of the staff doing platings did not seem to know how to describe the food, something that needs to be worked on. Overall I would definitely visit again.
