Located just steps from the beach in the legendary Hotel del Coronado, the restaurant's key focus is the bounty of the sea. The menu focuses on sustainable seafood, with a coastal cuisine menu that spotlights the best of the region's oceans, farms and fields, ranging from the California Coast down to the Baja Peninsula.
Creative cuisine with a global flair is prepared by San Diego's own Chef Jojo Ruiz, who creates elegant, fresh dishes with just a hint of Mediterranean flair.

The restaurant is beautiful; the outdoor seating overlooking the water is a perfect spot! The food was unfortunately bland, the drinks were pretty but tastes just ok. I expected more, especially at this price point. Service was overall good but took a long time to get our check.

We loved the place, the food was good with some issues for saltiness, they lost our food order, we waited almost one hour for our Main courses Brunch Sunday 15th September 2PM

Love Del Coronado , but this time it was unremarkable experience, didn’t expect construction 🚧 next to my table , you guys have to work better n Costomer service , we got seta before 2 tables and got service the last not good 👎

Went to celebrate an engagement and couldn’t have been more impressed; the menu has something for everyone, staff is extremely talented and welcoming, ambiance speaks for itself. Whole fish was cooked PERFECTLY, if you have the opportunity request John or sit in the bar area because he is top tier and exactly what you want with that experience.

The ceviche was a huge disappointment. It need tomatoes, more onion, cucumbers, mango. It is mostly just fish and a big potion. If that’s what you’re after then you might enjoy it. The bussell sprouts were delicious.

Food was outstanding but service was subpar. Our waiter forgot about us and we waited over an hour for our food. For prices as high as they are, you would expect better service.

They openly told me they overbook and told me I could sit inside right away or wait 20 minutes for outside. I was a little miffed since I booked for a sunset dinner view. I got a table outside luckily so FYI in case you reserve a table and cut it close on time. Food was good overall. I liked the sides more than the entree grilled fish. My fish was a little fishy tasting and I’ve been feeling a bit sick today after. It took a while to get anything we ordered except for the sparkling water.

Unfortunately we left after waiting almost 1 hour and 45 minutes for our dinner. We had breakfast there and the service was excellent and the food amazing but the dinner was not so much. We would have loved to try the dinner but it was just taking so long we just left before our meal could come out. We watched people get their meals who arrived there after us, we just left without our meals ever coming out. Almost like they forgot about us.

Grilled fish of day was mushy, not flaky as described by server. Lamb chops were good but great. Oysters were delicious but now that Hilton has taken over The Del the level of service is not what I’ve been accustomed to for the past 35 years.
