Given the other reviews, we read, we were very surprised by our experience. We had two starters and two mains, and only one of the mains would have ranked as good to very good. The cocktails were mediocre and the wine recommendation contradicted what we asked for. The service was just strange. It was prompt, but they made several mistakes. When I asked for a steak knife, the server said yes, but it was clear when he walked away that he was not going to bring one back. We even commented on that. In the middle of dinner, the same server approached and asked if he could take the salt. Without either of us replying, he went ahead and took it. I had to ask for it back and he didn’t apologize for taking it. Lastly, they were playing a very odd music station of clubby covers that completely contradicted the vibe of the restaurant and the clientele. all in all, a disappointing experience.

Booked a rooftop outdoor table in advance only to be told none available - didn’t accept it and eventually they gave us an outdoor table - when we got to the roof there were lots of empty tables. Food was overpriced and average quality Waiting service was appallingly slow, not the staffs fault just not enough of them

We frequent the Serafina restaurants when we are in NYC, so this was not an unfamiliar pick, yet it was still very different from the NYC establishments. Setvers had sold knowledge of the restaurant and the history, as well as they were informative as far as guiding us through the drink menus to the food. Food was the typical, (Read : Good!) Italian wholesome and fresh foods, with great overall quality from the way it was prepared to the taste. Do NOT discount Serafina because it’s a franchise for one moment. They hold strong against the locally owned restaurants.

Lovely restaurant with rooftop terrace outstanding food and service and very reasonable prices. Book a table here and you won’t regret 👍👍🤗

A perfect spot for lunch on a hot day in Venice! The restaurant is not far from the main tourist attractions, but it didn't feel touristy at all - it felt very authentic and Italian. Starters and pasta dishes were all delicious. Staff were charming (although they did forget one of the things we ordered). Decor is really nicely done.

16 night holiday around the med, this was one of our favourites- Italian cooking of the highest order with attentive and friendly service to go with it. Just book.

We were beyond pleased with the food and the service! We felt like we were eating with our new family in the middle of Venice!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Serafina. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a great ambience. Our server was passionate about the experience from the hand crafted drinks he made to the food we ordered. All of it was amazing and super affordable. It felt like a 5star experience for half the price. The meal was long, about 2 hours so be prepared to relax and enjoy. It does not seem to be a place to go if you want a quick meal.
