This is a sweet, romantic spot for a quiet meal. The decor is unique and fresh. Our dinner was excellent, food cooked perfectly and delightful wine. A perfect neighborhood find!

We had the dinner at the rooftop. The ambience was nice but it was busy. The waiter was also the bartender and it took a while to place the order and get the food. The food was good but the soup was warm. Overall it was a decent choice for dinner.

This is a fabulous restaurant- beautiful inside(didn’t see the upstairs patio) where I had one of the best dishes of my life! However the service was very slow - not just Italian slow- which we are use to - but rather slow in an invisible way. When they “saw” us they were very friendly but mostly we felt invisible. Of course we are old but we are not loud nor pushy (maybe we should have been). We had a reservation and were seated at the front door easily seen and easily served. People around us were served and left before we got our first course. We got our main dish about 1 1/2 hours after we ordered. We spent 2 1/2 hours there. This is my dilemma ( and the other 3 people I was with), it was the most delicious pasta I have ever eaten. For that reason I gave them 5 stars. All the dishes were sinfully good! So I would return just to wait for the food!

This is just as described. They are understaffed, new, and not ready for what I'm used to in Venice. Compared to other Venetian restaurants I'd give this a lower rating. The waiter tried hard, but he was overworked/overwhelmed and they literally had 4 bottles of red wine on the list...which left me baffled. It took an hour to get a drink, and the meal was less than worth writing home about and cold. Osteria da Buci WAYYYYYYYYYYYY better.

Serafina is a beautiful restaurant and its staff and service are very accomodating. We enjoyed a glass of white wine. The bread on the table was a day old and olive oil had to be asked for. We started the dinner with a pasta dish of spaghetti with clams . The dish was overly salty . Had this been our only dish the rating would be different but next we had the Mediterranean Sea bass which was perfectly prepared with an amazing presentation. The roasted potatoes that arrived with the dish were properly prepared - hot and crispy. With pasta as a first course a vegetable with the fish would have been preferable but had we read this review we would have skipped the pasta. You need an 1.5 hours to dine here as things take time at Serafina. If you go, order the fresh fish and perhaps an appetizer. Had that been the case it would be close to 5 stars.

The ambiance was beautiful. The food was good. We booked the roof but it was closed due to a rain shower earlier in the day. Guests next to us who arrived and ordered after us were served first. One of our meals came out cold and was served 10 minutes after the other two. They also charged us for the wrong more expensive bottle of wine.
