Le SER a gagné en 2014 le prix de restauration Ballston Business Improvement District's. Il s'agit d'une taverne espagnole authentique à l'ambiance hipster décontractée. Néanmoins, le SER n'est pas un restaurant de tapas. Il propose une expérience culinaire et culturelle à travers toutes les régions de l'Espagne. Ce restaurant est un lieu de rassemblement sympathique, où vous pourrez déguster des boissons et produits espagnols typiques, à tout moment de la journée ou de la nuit. Le personnel du SER sont comme des amis gourmands d'Espagne, qui disposent de compétences culinaires pointues et d'une « maison » confortable, où vous pouvez rester jusque tard dans la nuit.

Food was delicious and the recommended wine was fantastic. My only comment would be that our waitress misinformed us about questions we had that we later googled and she has given us the wrong answer. For example, we asker what was EVOO and she said it was the level of protein; which made no sense. So we googled it and it was Extra Virgin olive oil. Thankfully food was delicious but waitresses should know the menu to provide accurate information.

Our neighborhood favorite. The food and ambiance never disappoint. We tried the lobster paella this time - wow!! The flan that they gave my husband for his birthday was a great way to finish our meal.

Ate al fresco on the patio, which was much quieter than inside. There was some street noise from emergency vehicles, but otherwise very pleasant. Paella was very good. The flan dessert was tasty, but not very authentic (no caramelized sugar). The wine list is excellent, but unfortunately the one I wanted was not in stock. The replacement wine (tempranillo rose) was very good.
