    Exceptional. Food was delicious and beautiful. The service was excellent. I highly recommend for any foodie visiting Chicago. The lamb was a favorite.

    Unbelievable food. An incredible culinary experience. Definitely a 10 on the indulgence scale, but for that level of food and service I felt it was worth the $$$. Cool space too.

    I was a frequent customer some years ago when I was living in the Chicago area, enjoying my first meal with you in 2008. I make a point to come back anytime I return to Chicago for a visit. The food and wine service have always been great, but seem to get better each time I visit. Every dish was creative, delicious and beautifully presented, and the whole team provided outstanding service. Thanks for another fantastic experience!

    Really enjoyed the tasting menu at Sepia - all of the dishes were on point and the flow of service was very good.

    Dish creativity and presentation of every course were excellent which added to the unique flavor was the perfect combination. Would not recommend the wine pairing. They have a unique wine selection but were poorly matched with the dishes. Suggest they need to update the local. Looks very run down for the level of the restaurant. Service was ok but they mumbled through many of the dish descriptions. Again for the level of cuisine, more care in making the description understood would enhance the experience.

    One of the best meals I’ve had in years at a restaurant. Food, service, cocktails, and wine pairings were outstanding.

    Sepia is among our few favorite restaurants in the world. The food is outstanding. The wine list is fantastic. The service is impeccable. Among one Michelin star restaurants anywhere, you cannot find a better value. We cannot wait to come back to Sepia.

    While overall Sepia was a pretty great experience, there was a sense of casual ambience aypical of Michelin rated establishments. The tasting menu had add on options, which we selected, but it wasn't clear from the menu or the server that the add on course or amuse bouche would not come with a wine pairing. We unfortunately had to bother the service personnel with unnecessary additional inquiries. The wine pours while well-complemented to the courses, were heavy pours affecting the timings for the delivery of subsequent courses. So we felt pressured to finish the wine pairings quickly, impacting the experience. Small tweaks would render Sepia exceptional, however it was still a great experience overall.
