Sentido Norte, a restaurant and bar at Casa Chameleon Las Catalinas, proudly offers the best of Coastal Costa Rican cuisine. All food & drink is inspired by the country’s bountiful abundance, combining uniquely local and native ingredients in the glass and on the plate.

Dining in Sentido Norte is like dining in a local friend’s gourmet kitchen. Everything is accounted for, every request can be met, and every–from dish to drink–is delicious.

Sentido Norte is an adults only restaurant. Children under 12 years of age are not permitted at the restaurant.

We had some of the best food and cocktails in Costa Rica here and the view was stunning and surreal. We would definitely come back! If you are planning a trip here, make sure you book a table and let the staff know you want to see the sunset. If they have space, you will have an amazing view over the ocean and see the sun setting having a refreshing cocktail and a snack.

This was one of the most incredible dinners I have ever had. Not only was the view stunning, the service was excellent and the food was some of the best I have ever had! Unique dishes and sooooooo delicious! My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here and it was such a memorable and wonderful experience. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you have never been, it is an absolute MUST!!!

Wonderful evening / very special sunset view, accommodated our large group all together. A memorable dinner and sunset. Loved every minute and we all highly recommend.

My favorite restaurant anywhere. Can’t adequately explain how magical the setting is. Food is excellent, service is excellent, head chef is outstanding. Make sure you eat here. Come for sunset.

There weren't many people in the restaurant which was expected since it was raining. But I expected not frozen butter and a hot dish. Rather the meat was room temperature on top of hot risotto. It was expensive, so I expected something overall solid. Worst part- our credit was compromised and now we are dealing with that! Not good!

We had a lovely evening, the sunset was breathtaking. The food and service were great. I would definitely come again.

The sunset was magical. Fantastic service. Food and drinks were amazing. The patrons singing to the guitar player playing made the memory.
