Senia invites you to share well-crafted drinks and delicious food in a comfortable, convivial environment. We celebrate Hawaii’s abundance of beautiful ingredients and showcase the delectable results of diverse cultures and multi-discipline culinary training coming together.

Senia's founding Chef/Owner, Anthony Rush, has decades of culinary experience at the two and three Michelin-star level. Chef Rush applies his abundant and extraordinary talents to two different menus. Our à la carte menu highlights refined casual dishes, making Senia a great neighborhood restaurant. Our tasting menu, offered on Friday and Saturday nights at our Chefs’ Counter, is an exclusive and beautiful gastronomic experience that highlights incredible ingredients and exceptional technique.

Senia’s name is a play on the word “xenia”, the ancient Greek ideology of hospitality where strangers and friends alike were treated with the same regard. It is in that spirit that we welcome you to join us.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Hawaiian ingredients meet global recipes at this thrilling restaurant from James Beard-nominated chef Anthony Rush and his wife and co-owner Katherine Nomura. The a la carte menu is top-notch on any night, but go for the tasting menu that won the Hale ‘Aina Award for Hawaiʻi's best tasting menu when you want to celebrate. You might find dishes like Kona kampachi with charred Asian pear or venison tartare with housemade naan, which shine in the elegant dining room with exposed brick walls and curved black-leather banquettes.

With only eight seats available, the Chefs’ Counter dining experience is exclusive and immersive, placing you in the vibrant kitchen environment and allowing you to interact directly with our culinary team. The tasting menu brings the talents of Chef Anthony Rush and his team into focus: sourcing the highest quality seasonal ingredients, preserving the purity and beauty of those ingredients, and collaboratively developing technique and composition. The results are original and inspired dishes, perfectly presented, and culminating as a beautiful and carefully considered gastronomic experience. The Tasting Menu is available Fridays and Saturdays with one seating at 6:30pm.

What a dream to have a lovely fine dining experience. The food, presentation and service was exceptional. I was impressed with the rhythm of each dish delivery to the table, no rush just the right amount of time between plates. Our server was extremely affable, as were the many others who brought dishes to the table. Never intrusive. The plating and combination of flavors were thoughtful and delicious creations. Considering that the treatment was Michelin level, the reasonable price point for our experience was a bargain.

Everything was superb. The server helped us in our choices and was very attentive. I had the 007 cocktail and it was excellent. All the dishes were unique and extremely well thought out. I cannot pick our favorites. We had the mushroom tart, the venison tartare, the kampachi, the agnolotti and then the duck. All dishes were beautifully presented and were some of the best I have ever tasted. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend and boy, she was right! Everything we ordered was excellent: the salad, smoked ahi cigars, the scallops, but our favorite dish was the confit duck. Will definitely be ordering that when I return. Wait staff was very professional and also friendly. The drinks were also excellent. Really enjoyed their variation on the Negroni.

Had an amazing dinner experience here. every dish was better than the previous one.. we started with the tuna cigars, then the bone marrow, which was very hearty with oxtail marmalade and yummy Hawaiian rolls which were toasted to perfection. The Tagliatelle was very flavourful and generously portioned. Scallops were fresh and well seasoned. Ended with the refreshing yuzu tarte. Highly recommend this gem.
