The fresh pastas were delicious. My husband and a friend of ours both had the veal chop. It was huge! They really enjoyed theirs and ate the entire chop. Our table started with the focaccia appetizer and ended with the watermelon granita. Both were delicious and shareable. Our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. Bartender brought our beverages promptly. This was not our first time here, and it won’t be our last!

Really special place. The food is amazing and different than any where I’ve been. Four people with very different palates all found something to love. The care and thought that went into the smallest items was impressive. Our waiter and Busman provided a level of service one just doesn’t see that often any more. I grew up eating italian food and home and at restaurants. This was a different and exciting approach. We cannot wait to go back.

Restaurant has a beautiful design with a great bar. Servers friendly and helpful. Food FANTASTIC and bartender makes a great drink. Overall all one of our favorite restaurants!

Ill-conceived. The dishes bear no resemblance to what they're supposed to be. The dressing on the Caesar's Salad was heavily vinegar instead of anchovy and parmigiano. The pesto pasta was instead a lemon sauce.

The platonic ideal of a neighborhood restaurant. It satisfies me, husband, and friends with good food, caring professional service and pleasant surroundings. You might even decide to stay for dessert -nice crostata - because you can enjoy a conversation.

We were a party of 6 We ordered Focaccia Olives Calamari x 2 Rigatoni Spaghetti Milanese x 2 Porchetti Sword fish Focaccia was in 4 huge pieces. Not the best though Calamari was great Pastas were ok but not sizable for sharing Veal was huge but dry. Porchetti was great! Swordfish was flavorful but small portion

Very delicious Italuan food. The procutto and cantaloupe was quite good. Halibut was done just right and the cannelloni were delicious!! Our 2nd time there!

We have been looking for a go-to Italian restaurant in our UWS neighborhood for a long time, and, we have found our place in Sempre Oggi. We went there to celebrate our daughter's 12th birthday. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the greeting was warm and welcoming. We were seated immediately. The setting and the ambiance was cozy and relaxing. Service was amazing. The pasta was perfect - al dente in the exact way that you would have it in Rome, perfect texture. The bread was outstanding. The porchetta was as if it came from the streets of Trastevere. The fig dessert was heavenly. We were very impressed and very happy. Also, the service was so kind and generous to our 12 year old. Thank you, Sempre Oggi for a wonderful evening.

our second visit confirmed the pleasures of our first visit. we’ve been pleased by pasta, fish, chicken and Cesar salad. And, i don’t know a better place negroni with a friend than their bar at happy hour.

I just had THE best Amatriciana of my entire life, here at this restaurant. And, I have never uttered those words before in my life, although I have had plenty of very good ones (I travel to Italy every month for work). The restaurant was beautiful, from the unusual and artistic bar to the striking color scheme and bold art adorning the walls. Sophisticated yet very comfortable. And that also describes the service. Every one was professional and approachable and knowledgeable. The staff really made it a special place and a great experience.
