Thursdays from 8PM - 11PM Sempre Oggi welcomes David Kastin, who has been a DJ in New York for over 30 years, for a curated set from his personal record collection. I bought my first record in 1975. It was Aerosmith’s debut album. Ever since then I have had a love affair with vinyl. It all started with early 70’s rock, then into the late 70’s I was collecting disco ala Studio 54. Next was punk/post punk new wave and my collection grew significantly. In the late 80’s I discovered an old school NYC dance party DJed by none other than David Mancuso called The Loft and it changed my life. The Loft exposed me to so much music, one could hear almost anything from disco to funk, soul, house and rock and post punk it was so eclectic and inspiring

We had a most wonderful dinner last night. The food and service were both excellent. I recommend this restaurant highly to anyone wanting a superb meal and dining experience.

Warm, friendly cocktail lounge, comfortable dining area, terrific appetizers. Delicious swordfish with roasted cauliflower puts Sempre Oggi in my top 5 Manhattan restaurants.

Sempre Oggi continues to impress, delivering delicious meals by an attentive, knowledgeable and personable staff. From the minute you walk in, you are welcomed into a happy, low-key and warm atmosphere. We love their new takes on classic dishes and the wine list that goes with them. And save some room for dessert (looking at you, tira misu!) Thanks, Sempre Oggi! We'll see you again soon.

Overall very nice meal. Salad and appetizer were great. Mains were very good but not transcendent. Service was attentive and prompt without being overbearing. We didn’t intend to spend all night and we had a very good efficient meal. Will come back.

The General Manager was actively checking on customers to make their experience great. Our server and the whole serving team was well organized and welcoming. The Hostess took special care to check allergies and get details of our Special Occasion which was made Special because if the great food, drink, and service.

Our table was comfortable. The wait staff attended to our needs and was not officious. They explained well the food and beverages; brought the food while it still was warm; and answered our questions patiently. We had a great experience.

Meal was fantastic from start to finish, beginning with our server Connor. We asked for recommendations, and he was emphatic and descriptive with his recommendations, each of which were outstanding. We started with the focacia, followed by an unusual but excellent little gem Caesar salad, then his recommendations of the Roast Chicken, and then the Pasta in Red Pesto Sauce, all shareable and delicious. Lemon pudding for desert was equally delicious. The sommelier selected the perfect wine. The ambiance was great. We will be back.
