Weekend brunch at Selvin’s was great! We went early, right at 10, and were one of the only people there. Super quick service, quiet, intimate, and the food was great’

The restaurant decor is beautifully done, great dishes with standouts being steak frites, salmon, most appetizers and the incredible chocolate ginger dessert. Service for our large group was off, drinks take a long time, waitress left without taking half our guests order, lots of mistakes, forgetting several dishes ordered. But the managers took charge and made good on everything, very professional how they handled it so we didn’t walk away disappointed.

Great atmosphere. Service was good. Food was a bit disappointing though. Although the Caesar salad was good, the chicken was quite dry, and the broccoli was less than impressive.

Food and drinks were amazing. Bar took a long time to make mimosa’s and drinks. But overall it was great! Service was amazing other than the bar time to make drink’s. Would have arrested more drinks but it was taking too long. Will definitely go back.

Customer service was great and our server was very attentive but the food was just okay. My partner and I shared truffle fries and it was pretty salty. They use truffle salt and even though the truffle flavor came through, it was also pretty salty. I was looking forward to my entree which was the scallop risotto and unfortunately, it was just too bland for me aside from the actual scallop pieces. Overall, still a good dining experience but hoping that the flavors could be improved.

Food is good and clean relaxing seating but the service was basic. At check in the hostess was not very personable and communicated secretly to other employee taking us to our seat. Waitress was basic but nothing special. We went for wife’s birthday and was not provided anything for the birthday. Was not a memorable experience although food was great it’s questionable if we would ever visit again.

Selvin’s is a wonderful addition to the Conejo Valley. Food and atmosphere are excellent! The waitstaff are professional and quite helpful!

They just opened in Jun ‘24 & still getting out the little bugs. Greeted by about 4 hostesses 👍🏼. We helped ourselves to the open seating at the bar. Couldn’t get a table online or by phone as I was told it was fully booked 4:30-9:15p but a couple was going to sit at the bar, saw a empty table asked a server & had no problem being seated🙃. Christine, Bartender was engaging, attentive, sweet & made good drinks👍🏼. Wine menu is short🫤. The ambiance was a little Hollywood mixology vibe going on👍🏼. We had 4 starters, poke (fresh fish), hamachi(fresh fish), cauliflower (told it was cooked in 3 different ways but don’t think we experienced that?)& spicy chicken sliders (perfect). For us, Selvin’s definitely deserves another try of a few other dishes & cocktails 🍸 before really having a true opinion. The hostess made us a 6:30p Thursday reservation to try it again with friends….impressive. 😃 yayy
