D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Les habitué·e·s ne cessent de revenir au Selden Standard pour déguster des petits plats et des cocktails artisanaux dans cet espace industriel branché qu'USA Today a désigné comme l'un des meilleurs restaurants de 2024. Les produits locaux et de saison se retrouvent dans des plats comme le poulpe grillé au four à bois ou les pâtes fraîches de saison comme les agnolotti au maïs sucré. Selden Standard’s fare features flavors born in local farms, captured at the peak of the season, prepared in their wood-fired oven, and served small plates-style in shareable portions. Complementing the menu are wines from small producers, distinctive brews, and cocktails to suit the seasons. Selden is rustic and casual, but with an ever-present eye for quality, creativity, and fun. Chef Andy Hollyday is a 2023 James Beard finalist and four-time semi-finalist. Selden Standard was named a semi-finalist for Outstanding Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation (2024), and has been named Restaurant of the Year by both the Detroit Free Press (2015) and Hour Detroit (2016).

Seldon Standard is an experience for the senses - the ingredients are so uniquely and deliciously well paired! The presentation and delivery is well timed so that each dish can be enjoyed separately. So very good! It is a little dark, and with such beautiful food and to read the menu, the lighting could be better. My next visit I would like to sit at the bar, it’s warm, cozy from the fire ovens!

Absolutely amazing meal!!! Each dish was so carefully curated with wonderful combinations. We shared 10 dishes -- and each dish was our favorite!! Service was excellent and the meal was well paced so that we ould truly enjoy each dish. This restaurant is one of the very best parts of Detroit!!

I lalalallalooove Seldon Standard. I’ve been here a handful of times and each time I brought someone different. Everyone has fallen in love with the place after one bite. I highly recommend Selden Standard.

I had the pleasure of dining at Selden Standard once again, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The food was an incredible showcase of creativity and quality, with each dish highlighting the freshest local ingredients. The meal was absolutely delicious from the appetizers to the dairy free chocolate sorbet you could tell all the ingredients were fresh. 10/10 would go and will go bad asap

Selden Standard is the standard for the best restaurants in the city. The service is brilliant. The food is exquisite. The creativity that flourishes from each dish is indescribable. We adore this restaurant. 1000% - we will be back.
