Curiously nestled behind an enigmatic mural in Midtown, behind a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it door stands Sei Less, a newly minted Asian fusion restaurant. With close proximity to Madison Square Garden and the Garment District, Sei Less is the new hot spot that all fiveboroughs will be talking about.

Designed for evenings of enviable cuisine and distinctive revelry, the spacefeatures seating for 350 guests juxtaposed with a meticulously curatedcollection of modern art and clean lines, alongside traditional, hand carved Asian design elements in an homage to the architectural pagodas ofgenerations’ past.

The curated Pan-Asian menu with a one-of-a-kindcocktail experience as well as mocktails, for the sober-curious set, isdesigned to enhance every evening. In addition to the main dining area,the venue will offer 4 private dining areas to accommodate private parties and events.

Overall, the experience was enjoyable. Ambiance was unique and very pretty. The service was professional and good food. However, we felt a bit rushed to conclude our meal. ($300 for two) Perhaps, because it was a Saturday night. Nevertheless, I will definitely return on an alternate day.

The service at lunchtime is awful! Don’t offer lunch if it’s going to take +1.5 hours…. Or staff properly.

The experience with one particular greeters was less accommodating than expected. Even though the restaurant was only about 25% full during our visit, we were initially told that our two parties couldn’t be seated next to each other. After 30 minutes of back-and-forth, they eventually grouped us together but only after informing us of a $1,000 minimum spend which was not an issue at all. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated earlier to avoid the lengthy conversation. The food was good, as were our waiter, but likely our last visit.

All show and no go. Overhyped and overpriced. My daughter and I split pork dumplings and pork fried rice. She had a soda and I had a glass of wine and the bill with gratuity already add was $90! The portions were small. The service was terrible! Of course it was the server knew he was getting his 20%. I’ve had better fried rice at my local takeout place. Just avoid.

Sei Less is hands down my new favorite spot in NYC! From the moment I ordered, I was blown away by the lightning-fast service. I asked for a drink, and no joke, it arrived in under 3 seconds, delivered by another bartender. And the food? Unreal. My order of Beijing Chicken and Fried Lobster Rice came out in just 5 minutes, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Pair that with my Lychee Martini, and you've got the ultimate dining experience. The flavors, the vibes m, I loved the music. Everything was on point. 10/10, highly recommend! Chef's kiss!
