In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water.

Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate requests for seating preferences and/or outside dining, but they cannot be guaranteed based on limited outdoor seating. Outdoor dining may have additional wait times. Two bars (seasonal) are available to enjoy cocktails and wine should you arrive early for your reservation.

                                                                                                                Even with a reservation waited 30 minutes and had to argue our way to a table - despite there being empty tables when we arrived. Our server was lovely and attentive, but the food was Marginally ok and the cocktails terrible and Overpriced. What happened to this place? Many young teenage girls working who are made to wear skimpy skin tight uniforms up to their butts while the male employees are fully dressed and older. Disgusting and abusive. Will never return.

                                                                                                                I highly recommend Secondo to people when they ask where in the area is a good restaurant. I’ve always had a good experience. Our server was very attentive. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious.

                                                                                                                Wonderful experience at Secondo. Food was outstanding. Cocktails were good sized and tasty. Service was excellent. Noise level was a bit uncomfortable. Can’t wait to return though. Missed having their delicious pizza, though.

                                                                                                                It took over two hours to get our entrees. Our waiter worked hard however, supposedly they were understaffed and many other tables were waiting as long as we were. The kitchen was definitely having some issues and two of our meals were burnt and not prepared well. Overall, we did not have a great experience. They did take off those two meals and they took off 50% of the bill but unfortunately this was not an enjoyable dining experience. This was our third time at this restaurant but now I’m not sure if I’m returning again.

                                                                                                                I love this restaurant! We came here for my birthday dinner. Great vibes, delicious meals, full bar, excellent service. Augustina was our server and she surprised me with sparklers! Do not miss Secondo. It’s in my top 3 Cape May restaurants.

                                                                                                                We have been to this restaurant a few times over the years and this past experience was not as good as the previous ones. I ordered the Mahi-Mahi special with stuffed crabmeat and it was over cooked and dry. My wife had the Sunday dinner which she loved. Overall it was not worth what we paid. Also, the restaurant was very loud. Not sure if we’ll keep this one on the list for our shore visits.
