In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water.

Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate requests for seating preferences and/or outside dining, but they cannot be guaranteed based on limited outdoor seating. Outdoor dining may have additional wait times. Two bars (seasonal) are available to enjoy cocktails and wine should you arrive early for your reservation.

Although we had a reservation we were seated in the bar. It was noisy and there were some people who had enjoyed too many cocktails. Between them and the live music, it was impossible to carry on a conversation with my husband while dining. Food was terrific but I would not want to go there again if seated in the bar.

Come to Secondo a lot.. little disappointed this time. Mozzarella balls are always a go to.. this time we ordered them and received the usual three but this time the entire order was the size of one normal ball.. Ran out of two specials and didn’t receive the oil with the bread until way later. Waitress was great but definitely disappointed this time around.

Best thing about dinner was our server, who rescued us from an extremely loud party and was very gracious. Apetizers and entrees were uneven. Best meal was pork chop with pears and gnocchi. Wine and cocktails were good. Coffee and tiramisu were good. Resort town prices and packed dining room gives this place an "average" rating for us.

Dinner was exceptional, as always and Shannon, our waitress, was a pleasure. Thea and her team put out a fabulous product and never disappoint!

Was a nice night…. We had mahi special, and Rib eye special… I would have liked to sit by the window, which I requested, but was told those tables were for larger parties… we were a party of 3…. There were tables for 4.. I don’t see the issue, when your spending $200 or more, but, whatever… still enjoyed our dinner

WE ate here about 4-5 years ago and the food and drinks were fabulous. However, this time the experience was terrible!! My drink was something with Prosecco and flavored vodka, it was literally a glass of ice with water and some small fruit pieces of strawberries and blueberries. Absolutely no taste of Prosecco or any alcohol. I did not even drink half of it. The entrees were completely tasteless. A jar of Ragu would have been 100% better then the dishes my husband and I had. It was saturated in a tomato sauce that had zero flavor and little substance of what was supposed to be in the dish. My husband ordered a Virgin Mary as he does not drink alcohol, we have always been charged an equivalent of a soda in most restaurants. This place charged$14 for it which was the same price as my supposed Prosecco drink that was ice water!!! We will not be going back!!! And the one hostess was dressed like she belonged on the streets of AC. Very distasteful for a family establishment.

Food was great! Had the veal pecorino…tender and tasty! The lobster trio was delicious too! Makenna was superb! Music/singer was great entertainment!

This is our second time back for our Anniversary dinner and will continue to go back every year. I couldn't recommend a more beautiful place than Secondo for one of the best meals you'll ever want to have! It came with a complimentary glass of champagne for the occasion too! The owner is lovely, and her wait staff is impeccable. I highly recommend this place, and did I mention the food was to die for??
