In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water.

Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate requests for seating preferences and/or outside dining, but they cannot be guaranteed based on limited outdoor seating. Outdoor dining may have additional wait times. Two bars (seasonal) are available to enjoy cocktails and wine should you arrive early for your reservation.

My girlfriend and I got engaged the day prior, I made a note in opentable and upon arrival the hostess congratulated us! When we got to our table, they had 2 champagne for us! A very nice and appreciated touch! The service was great and our food was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate!

                                                                                                                We had a delicious meal at Secondo. Cocktails, oysters, and appetizers were fantastic. We had a salmon special and the bronzino. The brozino has a lot of bones, but both fish dishes were very good.

                                                                                                                7 PM Reservation. Seated about 8 PM. Went to the bar. Was busy. Difficult to get bartenders attention. Once seated at our table, our server did his best. Food was ok. Not great. Between bar bill and dinner bill, 100.00 a person not including tip. ( bar was total of 5 drinks for party of 3 ) First time there since it was called Blue Claw. Loved Blue Claw. It was busy. Maybe we just had a bad experience.

                                                                                                                Delicious food, great service. Fun outdoor space for a pre-dinner cocktail. A must go when you’re in Cape May. This place never disappoints !

                                                                                                                As a party of 7 — it’s hard to please everyone. That was not the case at Secondo. Pleasantly surprised after reading a few mixed reviews. Our waiter, Devon was phenomenal in every sense. Great recommendations, so on top of service, extremely accommodating and kind, and a facilitated a great atmosphere. Our food was outstanding and all 7 loved their dishes which is a feat in itself! We encountered just one issue — we sat outside and there was live entertainment WHICH WAS FANTASTIC, just far too loud. We couldn’t hear each other at all, much less have a conversation — nor could we hear our waiter. We will absolutely return but may reconsider our seating choice if live music is playing. The bar was perfect for an after dinner drink and the oyster bar selection looked interesting, as well.
