    So excited Seastar is open for lunch again! Can’t wait to celebrate work bdays and taking our clients to my fave Bellevue seafood place! Excellent service, everything on the menu is delicious, and beautiful location.

    Love the service & food. Ambience is at par with other restaurants in the neighborhood but could be better for sure. The rates are reasonable. They have some good options for kids which is a plus. Sea food is really good! Will definitely be back.

    Victoria was an amazing server. Very attentive. Oysters on the half shell and heirloom tomato salad great. Blood orange martini great. Prawn risotto delicious. Parking garage convenient.

    Be aware that the restaurant charges a 20% service charge on the total bill that it “retains for the restaurant” not the wait staff. This feels disingenuous. Pass on your service charge via the menu - not an added fee.

    The service was outstanding and watered to give him a nice tip . However 20% was high. In this day and age 40.00 then a tip . Really high. I will go back not as frequently. Also they did away with the valet parking.

    I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Seastar numerous times, and overall, my experiences have been excellent. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic evening with low lighting and a pleasant, not-too-loud noise level, which adds to the restaurant’s charm. The service is consistently outstanding, with attentive staff who enhance the dining experience. The bread service is generally good, although the flatbread was a touch too salty for my taste. I have to highlight the parmesan-encrusted sole—it was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. However, the mashed potatoes, which are usually stellar, were a bit of a letdown this time around. They arrived cold and had a gluey texture, which was surprising given the restaurant’s usual high standards. As for drinks, the cosmopolitan cocktail was on the weaker side, lacking the punch I usually expect from their cocktails. That said, the raw bar items, as always, were spot on—fresh and delicious. I also thoroughly enjoyed the truffle fries and deviled eggs, which continue to be a highlight of their appetizers. In summary, Seastar continues to excel in service and ambiance, deserving five stars in those areas. While the food and drinks were slightly inconsistent during this visit, I’d still rate them a solid 4.0 stars overall.

    Our waiter was fantastic- this was our first time at seastar and I really wanted it to be a fun good one. The drink I had was not cold, could have used a cold shake before serving. My mom never complains and her chicken was really dry- I had the scallops and they were all cooked differently, some soggy, some over cooked it was really inconsistent. Service was great- but we probably won’t return because the food was less than.

    Took a really long time to get our food. At that price, I shouldn't have to wonder if the meal is ever going to come. It wasn't that we were starving because we had an appie in the bar. It was just long wait. My husband had scallops and they weren't cooked through all the way. So all in all not a great experience.
