Located on Bear Creek, this casual-dining, WATERFRONT, family restaurant is
open all year serving lunch and dinner,
starting at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday - Sunday; Mondays we open at 4pm for dinner.

The Seasoned Mariner welcomes you to relax indoors where
you can dine beside our waterfall or
outside next to our sandy beach overlooking Bear Creek, lined
with beautiful palm trees and exotic flowers during the warmer months.

In season, our beach dining area is pet friendly (rules apply).
We have a 200 ft. floating pier for boat docking (first come, first serve basis).
We have 7 boat slips that may be reserved.
We can host private events up to 150 people.

We have a variety of options for private events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversary, retirement parties, wakes and just fun get -togethers. We will help you plan a menu and decoration theme to make your event fun and successful. This could be a buffet style or a sit down meal. We make every effort to handle even last minute affairs.We have a semi private area with a beautiful view of Bear Creek for a party of 30 to 45 guests. The waitress brought my daughter's dish as we were finishing up and my wife's side dish as we were paying the check. The food was overcooked and dry. It's a shame because I really wanted to like this place.

The scenic waterfront view was perfect and there was no wait to be seated. We tried the crab pretzel and kokos crazy wings in spicy bbq. The pretzel was average, the wings decent with a little kick. He ordered the seafood platter which apparently no one changes out the fried oysters (hes not an oyster fan). He wished there was more scallops as they were his absolute favorite. I went with the ny strip which was perfectly cooked to medium (i asked medium well since there was not a chart) but i found the glaze to be very Worcestershire heavy and salty for my taste. The potatoes were the worst part of the entire meal, tasting bland and on the verge of instant but overall the meal was enjoyable. Service was attentive and our server did offer to ask the kitchen to switch the oysters out. We plan to go back for beers on the beach this summer.

6 of us meet up for dinner every month. We always pick a different restaurant that is convenient for all of us. The Seasoned Mariner was very very good! We were seated quickly and service was very attentive but not overbearing. Cream of Crab soup was delish and Cod Cakes excellent. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. I got the Slider Trio (crabcake, fish and shrimp salad) and loved it. One complaint was while the guys drink beer, us girls like our fancy cocktails and the most they had were Crushes which were so-so. I will definitely go back, the view in the spring/ summer must be really nice!!

Our waitress, Jenn, was great. She was attentive and friendly, and made great recommendations. Hey he food was awesome. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly, and so tender. The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired, but otherwise, it was a great experience.

Took over an hour for entree to arrive after salad. Steak was over cooked and presentation was poor. It looked like everything was thrown on the plate with dried out garnish. Sent it back and removed from check. Went elsewhere and got pizza. Manager did attempt to rectify by comping a round of drinks and charged 1/2 price for other entree.

We come on the first Sunday of the month for Sushi and Sunny makes the best in town, we will see you in December. Ambiance, it was dark ha ha !

It was our first time here. Was told to sit anywhere.the room was completly empty, which concerned us. We picked a corner seat by a window. There was a party on the deck so we couldnt go out there. The service was ok. Not the best not the worst. The food was awesome. I had the scallops which i highly recomend. I would return when i am in the mood for seafood, however i would probably ask for it to go, as the atmosphere was less than desirable. I would recomend updating the decor other than that it is a awesome place for seafood.
