   I’d read good reviews and thought it would be a good place to take my wife to dinner. I was wrong. Although the food was serviceable, not great, and the ambience was decent, the service was absolutely terrible. I had to order water 3X before our water finally remembered to bring it to our table. My dry martini was watery and not “extra dry” as I’d ordered. After our first round of tapas, it was an extraordinarily long amount of time before our waiter even poked his head around to bring us menus to order some wine and more tapas. After we finished eating, we never saw him again so we waited for over a half hour until we finally got up and walked out. While walking to the front to pay I saw the waiter mindlessly polishing silverware. I told him we did not receive the order of manchego cheese we had ordered and he just looked at me quizzically and said, “Oh, don’t forget to check the bill.” No apology of any sort. Could not have cared less. If we would not have gotten up to leave when we did, we’d probably still be sitting at our table now with no food or drink, waiting for this waiter. With so many choices for great food in Barcelona, I certainly won’t return. Too bad though. It could have been a fun time.

   Great tapas experience. We ate most of the items on the menu. Not everything was my favorite, but I loved most of what was served. Go find out which dishes are for you!

   We ate dinner here with our 20 something daughter and her friends in July. The place was adorable. While they had outside seating we were at a table indoors which was nice given the heat. Food was absolutely fabulous. We tried the croquettes, patatas bravas, tacos, tuna and squid. All were equally delicious. And our server was great -- attentive without being obtrusive. The only reason we give Season less than 5 stars is that (1) they did not have our first choice bottle of wine from the menu and (2) they were without a bartender so could not serve cocktails. Consequently, we went elsewhere once we had eaten. Despite the lack of expected beverages, we would return.

   Visiting my daughter while she studies abroad in Barcelona and feel so lucky to have found this gem. Loved the decor, under-tasted elegant vibe. Great food and great service. We sat in front of restaurant, but would probably choose the back room next time to see how it feels.

    Seven of us visited in December as work dinner and we loved the food, the service, the wine.
