                                                  I went to the Seaside Shanty with a visiting cousin and family. The main courses were tasty, but there were not enough appetizers to choose from. We were not drinking alcohol for a number of reasons, and we found that the booze free drink selection was rather uninspired compared to the overall level of this place. Pleasant ambience, but no need for the music track.

                                                  The food here is great. No the largest menu but everything we’ve had has been excellent. The views are beautiful. Parking can be a bit tricky

                                                  Somewhar abbreviated menu but what we ordered was excellent. My only complaints were that when I made the reservation I requested out door seating, somehow this did not get communicated to the restaurant or they missed it. Secondly when I asked to swap a simple green salad for fries, I expected an up charge no problem, but they gave me a pathetically skimpy serving of mixed greens. It was a busy night and the waitress did not ask us how everything was until she brought the bill. Not as enjoyable as our visits there last summer but there is a nice ambience and the food was tasty.

                                                  Food was good but our waitress completely forgot about us - we waited about 30 minutes after getting drinks and finally had to call her over to take our orders. Then she walked away before getting everyone’s order so we had to call her back. It took 45 minutes to get the food which consisted of 2 Caesar salads, a lobster roll, fish and chips, chicken burger and kids fries. Then it took forever to get our bills. I realize that it was busy but the patio wasn’t even full - other people sat/ordered/ate and left in half the amount of time that we were there
