A spectacular restaurant! Superb service by Brenton Sakiewicz. He's an exceptional waiter. Very knowledgeable about wines and food pairings. Chef Marcus is an incredible young Chef who greeted us table side. Both he and Brenton are impressive young professionals. Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Two thumbs up! Five Stars! ~ Dr. Ed

Our first visit to Sear. Everything was "okay" but not fabulous, as their pricing indicated it should be. We frequent many fine dining establishments in Dallas / Fort Worth. Sear deserves some credit for providing a fine dining experience outside of the Uptown / Downtown Dallas area, saving people living in suburbs east of Dallas a longer drive, but I don't feel it was quite up to par with many Dallas area establishments considering they seem to be just as pricy. Our wedge salad looked like it was a tiny bit aged as the lettuce ends were turning dark, they were sold out of the Oysters Rockefeller, and the bar was a bit slow as well. I don't want to dump on them. It wasn't a bad experience at all, just not up to par with competitive steakhouses another twenty minutes west.

We booked a booth for our 22 wedding anniversary, and they gave our reserved booth to a couple that had just walked in right in front of us. They then sat us at a large table next to the bar - not a very good vibe. Then, they never brought our drink order, and instead brought us an appetizer that we said we didn’t want. We decided to get up and leave. They completely ruined our wedding anniversary. What a lousy restaurant!!!

This is our favorite white linen dining spot. Food never disappoints and staff rarely disappoints although a bit pricey. We enjoyed our anniversary this week.
