It was our first time at Seasmoke Grill. We were pleasantly surprised. Had an amazing dinner. The ahi tuna was incredible and so was the lobster risotto.

The food was very good, the GARLIC SHRIMP was great. The three main courses, one WILD CAUGHT SALMON, very good, the King Crab Spaghetti was very good, just too little crab meat for the price. The Swordfish special was dry, maybe the fish was over cooked. The desert Candy Bar was great.

Great atmosphere, food was delicious, service attentive. Price was a little high…two others leaving as we entered said “ hold onto your wallet”. Your rep is you are pricey.

We had a lovely dinner on the deck overlooking the Hudson. All the planets lined up for perfect weather, excellent food and Jimmy, a fabulous server. I would recommend SS, without hesitation, to anyone who hasn't yet had the experience.

On a summer night, it is so lovely to be outdoors. Excellent food however they ran out of 2 fish dishes by 7:30. Last time we were there, they ran out of their famous Ricotta Bread. The waiter and busboy kept wanting to remove our plates when we hadn’t even finished each course. Same thing happened last time. Maybe will give it another try but not rushing to go back

We had a great meal here. The restaurant is beautiful, and we were able to dine outside on the terrace. The service was great, and they food was amazing. It was pricey, but definitely worth it in my opinion. We will definitely be returning!

We were visiting in Albany and were looking for a place to get a very good meal. We succeeded with Sea Smoke! We sat outdoors, with a very nice view of the Hudson. More importantly, everything about the experience was great. Our server, Jimmy, was knowledgeable about the menu (including making a great wine pairing recommendation), and the food was as good as it gets. We started with a dozen oysters, which were excellent and matched their descriptions exactly—we got four each of three different varieties. My spouse had the scallop special, which was excellent. I combined one of the appetizer specials—smoked mussels with tomatoes and mozzarella, with a salad. Everything tasted fresh and prepared with care. The manager stopped by at one point and we complimented her on both the service and the food. All in all, for a great dining experience, it would be hard to beat Sea Smoke!

We found Sea Smoke on the Open Table site and weren’t disappointed! I had shrimp scampi and my husband had grilled octopus which were the best prepared dishes we had ever had…and we are foodies! (We also had salads which were delicious). We would have liked to eat out in the patio, but were placed fairly close to the door and could see out a bit. At least the yellow jacket bees/wasps didn’t bother us, even with the sliding doors wide open. (It’s late August folks!) The wait staff to client ratio was at least 3- to a table…very attentive, but not hovering and we were not rushed. Nice touch for a semi casual restaurant! After dinner we found a little grassed in area next to the restaurant /parking lot to sit and look at the bridge across the Hudson River and city scape on the other side…just lovely and relaxing to discover in an apparent strip mall!! The restaurant is a bit on the higher price point, but it is worth it. A true find in Troy, NY if you live there or just visiting like us.

wonderful time with our family my favorite nieces birthday and dinner before my son went back to college drink specials were excellent and different as was the food and service was great

This was my third dining experience at Sea Smoke. The setting is spectacular: right on the river. The vibe is elegant and upscale yet lively and approachable. The food was superb each time. Their cocktails are imaginative and very, very good. The best place for outdoor dining in the Capital Region, IMO.
