Despite having a reservation we had to wait to be seated. Eventually, we were taken to our table upstairs. The room was pleasant, with nice chandeliers, some kitschy statues, comfortable seating. Service was relatively good, we had to ask a different person than our server, a very nice Afro-American lady, who inquired if we were doing ok, to bring us an ice bucket for our white wine and helped ourselves with a plate from our neighboring table to put the seafood shells, after our server forgot to bring one when the food came and after our request. The seafood dishes were mediocre, the shrimp and langoustine dish was overpowered by the pesto sauce and the frutti di mare with squid ink pasta had mushy pasta with clumps of pasta, and tasteless shrimp; the shrimp was most likely frozen previously. My son loved the lamb chops, and the crème brûlée and passion fruit deserts were outstanding. Overall, not a bad experience, but food needs improvement and some young servers need more training.

This was our first time at Sea Grill and we were very impressed by the quality of the food and service. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, providing recommendations about the menu. The food was well prepared, and presented, and everything we ordered was delicious. We’d definitely recommend Sea Grill and will go back next time we visit Charlotte.

My family and I came for brunch to celebrate the holidays coming up and we had a wonderful experience at Sea Grill. The food was fantastic and the wait staff/service team were attentive to all of our family, including our twin 10-year old sons. Our waiter, Ebraheem (I apologize if I’m spelling this incorrectly) was incredibly kind and patient with our family and gave a variety of great suggestions on items from the menu. I am grateful for his help and guidance with it being our first time here. We look forward to coming back for dinner in the future, and would recommend their brunch service to others.

Very exquisite yet so down to earth! The food was great! I had the Beef Wellington and Oysters for Starters. The ambiance was cozy and stylish. Perfect for a small gathering with friends or a date night!

It took them 45 minutes to bring out the appetizer. They didn’t even come to check on us or give an update. Any decent place would send out drinks on the house for the wait. Sushi was average at best. Then they brought us the check with a 50% discount on the appetizers which is quite insulting. We had to point out the insult for them to comp the appetizers. I will not go back and would not recommend. Waste of time and money.
