Not worth the money. Go to Steak48 or CapitalGrill. Service is okay. Kassandra was great but the $$ they are charging should support better experienced servers

This was our first time visiting, and we came to celebrate my sister’s birthday. I was frustrated to see that we were seated in the bar area (even after I notified the restaurant of the special occasion). I then noticed that they seated us at a table for 4 when my reservation was for 6–not sure how that got mixed up on their end, but they pushed another table together instead of moving us upstairs to the dining room. We remained seated in the bar area right next to the men’s bathroom. The table itself was nice, and the food was pretty good, but I expected the overall service to be a bit better since we paid almost $1K in food and drinks.

Pleasant place. Fairly new, they need to get some service issues together, but they have potential. A nice addition to "uptown" CLT.

Everything was amazing! Highly recommended. You will spend some money, however the food, ambiance, and service is worth it.

Sea Grill is making waves as the new restaurant on the block within the Queen City Quarter complex. From the minute we walked in, to the time we left, it was an amazing experience. We remember the interior of the building from the days of being BlackFinn and it was totally transformed. The decor is absolutely beautiful (even in the bathrooms) and the food experience tops the amazing ambiance. We had two cocktails, two appetizers, a sushi roll, two entrees and a dessert and they were all served to perfection. The service was also outstanding. I will be going back and trying other menu items!

This place is amazing. The food presentation, the food, the ambiance, and the customer service are superb. I went here with friends for brunch and will definitely be back for dinner.

Make sure to inspect food before serving because finding a thread on our food, ruined everything.

Despite having a reservation we had to wait to be seated. Eventually, we were taken to our table upstairs. The room was pleasant, with nice chandeliers, some kitschy statues, comfortable seating. Service was relatively good, we had to ask a different person than our server, a very nice Afro-American lady, who inquired if we were doing ok, to bring us an ice bucket for our white wine and helped ourselves with a plate from our neighboring table to put the seafood shells, after our server forgot to bring one when the food came and after our request. The seafood dishes were mediocre, the shrimp and langoustine dish was overpowered by the pesto sauce and the frutti di mare with squid ink pasta had mushy pasta with clumps of pasta, and tasteless shrimp; the shrimp was most likely frozen previously. My son loved the lamb chops, and the crème brûlée and passion fruit deserts were outstanding. Overall, not a bad experience, but food needs improvement and some young servers need more training.

Sea Grill restaurant was very nice, the food was good and the service was nice. I think they try to give you an exceptional experience, but the “94” sanitation score stayed in my head the entire time. Please improve in that area.
