Good vibe in the restaurant. Brunch was very popular. Staff were attentive and kept our guests' glasses topped up with prosecco. However, ordering a charcuterie, you expect more than one meat and the chicken in the fried chicken and waffles was a little pink in parts. That said, it was a fun meal.

Food very average for the price. Flay breads contained the smallest amount of topping possible - goats cheese almost invisible!

Awful service, with a slow running kitchen. We were one of the first tables for lunch and yet a couple of our dinners didn't get served a cheese toastie until an hour later. Waiters were shouting at members of our party and the whole experience was chaotic. Even trying to pay the bill was an enduring trial.

Sea Containers restaurant was a very nice place to go - particularly on special occasions and the ambience was very good along with the service. We had a lovely lady serving us called Marialena who was exceptional she went above and beyond for the 2 birthday girls in our group and acknowledged our special day. yes I would go back. It has quite dark mood lighting (even at lunchtime) for anyone with bad eyes to be aware of, even though you are facing directly onto the river.
