Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous Fried Chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Other items, like the house-smoked beef brisket and braised pork shoulder, come straight from the state of Texas. The rest of the South is well represented as well with a Carolina pulled pork sandwich, chicken and waffles, crispy fried oysters and a pimiento cheese & sausage biscuit sandwich with a fried egg and cheddar grits.

Chef Dominic Finzo has prepared a menu showcasing the vibrant flavors of south Louisiana, from a classic Crawfish Boil to Chicken & Andouille Sausage Gumbo and, of course, King Cake—a celebration in and of itself! Mardi Gras Specials Louisiana Crawfish Boil Plump, hand-harvested crawfish shipped overnight from Jackson Frost Swamp in Louisiana, served with spicy boiled potatoes, corn, cocktail sauce & saltines. $38 Chicken & Andouille Sausage Gumbo A slow-simmered Cajun stew of okra, tender chicken, andouille sausage, tomatoes, and the “holy trinity,” served over long-grain rice. $23 Crawfish Étouffée Crawfish tails “smothered” in a rich, buttery roux-thickened sauce with onions, celery, peppers & Cajun spice, served over rice with garlic-toasted French bread. $29 Red Beans & Rice Slow cooked w/ ham hock, pickled pork, & trinity topped w/ rice & green onions. $14 King Cake Sweet roll cake filled w/ cinnamon cream cheese, topped w/icing and Mardi Gras colored sugar sprinkles. Have been trying to get to Screen Door for dinner for a long time and finally made it this past Saturday. It was VERY crowded when we arrived for our 7 pm reservation, but the guy working the front desk was great, communicated clearly and managed the crush very well. It is not a huge restaurant, and is obviously very popular, so we had about a 15-minute wait for two tables together to clear so they could accommodate our group of 5. The food was very "down home" but was extraordinary. Very well prepared and very flavorful. The waitress was friendly and professional and managed everything so that we felt well cared for despite the crowd. Highly recommended. I plan to return for brunch or lunch sometime soon.

Always loved Screen Door brunches for the past 15 years. This was my first time coming for dinner because we got a gift card for Christmas. The fried chicken never disappoints. We also got the half rack of bbq ribs to split, and took half of it home. So full! But the ribs fell right off the bone and the flavor was amazing. Pretty noisy at dinner, but a great family spot. You won’t be disappointed - but try breakfast/brunch first!

The experience at Screen Door was amazing, we been here to celebrate my birthday with my wife the same day that we arrived from Miami and everything was perfect. Hank you for the hospitality and the food quality.
