Schpoons & Forx is chef and broadcaster Matt Budden’s modern British all-day restaurant featuring a lively open kitchen. A vibrant place with a tandoor and stone oven, the restaurant offers British inspired dishes, made with only the freshest local produce. The modern interior is decked out in rich wood finishes, jewel-toned tile and comfortable luxe seating with striking feature lighting and will encourage a lively, buzzing atmosphere. Good service and food was lovely. Waiter was very attentive. A romantic birthday date night.

Enjoyed a lovely meal, great to see the open kitchen and seeing the food being prepared. Friendly staff, will come back!

Front of house absolutely awful. He sat us down and walked off, never offered us drinks. Nobody came over to us for ages so we had to get up and ask one of the waitresses to take our order for drinks. Service throughout very poor especially the chap at front of house - he needs some training !

Quite disappointed with the restaurant. Extremely overprice for below adequate food. The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs cooking- one of the chefs was continually eating chips, I watched him take out raw meat of a bag, turn with his bare hand, didn’t wash his hands and 5 minutes later was touching the raw salad with his hands. Really disappointing considering I paid best part of £40 for a steak that was relatively tasteless. Would not recommend.

Excellent food amazing quality particularly the cheese board staff were friendly and very efficient would definitely recommend

It wasn’t the best or the worst, staff don’t have great attention to detail although they were very friendly, food was okay we had the steak because half of the items on the menu was not available, decent selection of wines. The manger Simone was great!

My stepdaughter and I came to Schpoon and Forx for a bottomless brunch on Saturday. We had a lovely time. The restaurant was fairly quiet. We had great service from friendly and welcoming waiters who kept our glasses topped up. The food was lovely. There were a few things on the menu that I could have happily chosen so we’ll need to come back to sample more! Thanks for a lovely afternoon.
