This was our first visit to Scholar and we will most certainly be back! Promptly seated for a 7pm reservation, it was very busy for a Monday evening. The cocktail menu is inspired and unique and we enjoyed a couple of them. Crab cakes were amazing, lots of crab, very little breading. My wife had the Bison Short Ribs and I had the Scallops. Both were well prepared and delicious. Great service by Kamden K who was doing double duty as bartender and server. He did an excellent job with both! A great all around experience. We will most certainly be back!

We had a fantastic time at Scholar. We used to hang out at the restaurant when it was more of a bar scene about 20 years ago in college. We were interested in seeing the renovation and new concept. All of the floors have a really beautiful but unique vibe. High end cozy. Everything we ordered was fantastic, crab cakes, butternut soup, clam chowder and salads. The service was great too. We will absolutely be coming back.

Brunch was delicious, the perfect place for a yummy Sunday meal with family before walking around Art Prize.

Highly recommend. The food was fantastic. Drinks were on point and our server Rhea did an outstanding job describing the menu and helped guide some of our choices. We will definitely be back! It was pretty noisy but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Had a 7PM reservation for 4, arrived on time and was greeted appropriately. Server took 15 minutes to approach the table, took drink and app order — took 30 minutes for drinks/water to make it to the table by the host. Apps came about 20 minutes later and the meat balls were cold, dry, and unappetizing. Entrees were ordered and took about another 30-40 minutes and not by the server. Server came by halfway through entrees for the second time of the evening, and didn’t ask how the food was… very poor service overall. This place has so much opportunity to be a star in GR, but for the prices and the ambiance, time and money need to be spent on service, food quality, and customer service.

An absolute amazing experience! We sat at a beautiful table tucked right next to the fireplace in the lower level of the restaurant. Our service was amazing thanks to our server Kennedy & our food was on point and cooked perfectly! Highly recommend trying Scholar out!

The atmosphere was amazing, but I wish we were able to get the full experience of the place. The upstairs dining area was closed, which wasn't posted online, when I booked my reservation. The food was to die for! Absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and picturesque presentation. We were seated in a booth, North of the bar, near the kitchen area, which was a little loud. We were able to catch the aroma of the cuisine firsthand though.
