Schnitzel Platz in Glendale Heights is perhaps one of the most lively and entertaining eateries throughout the area and is known for hosting many events and is special enough to help ring in the holidays. In fact, Schnitzel Platz will often feature a special menu that has items only available throughout select times of the year. There are, of course, plenty of consistent favorites you will find too.

Some consistent menu items include the Kaiser in the neighborhood, whole suckling pig, Deutsche Haus platte, schweine braten and the sauerbraten. Make sure you also try the many schnitzels, of course, like the pork schnitzel, weiner schnitzel or the jager schnitzel. Schnitzel Platz also offers a kid’s menu that makes this restaurant a family-friendly place to go. and don't forget to come in and enjoy some authentic German polka music on weekends and our great selections of German bier imported from Germany!

    The Schnitzel Platz has great German food that's hard to beat. I love going there. The annual Oktoberfest that the restaurant sponsors is also terrific. I will definitely keep going back.

    The food was good as was to be expected for Octoberfest. The server was great and very friendly. The prices were a bit high but this is why we only come here maybe once a year. If the prices were a bit lower we would definitely go more often as it is very close by. Though there are other German restaurants in the surrounding vicinity that are more reasonably priced.

    Prost! We enjoyed the accordionist, and the food was very flavorful. The servers were polite, quick, and attentive, and especially dressed for the Oktoberfest season.

    This is a lively noisy beer hall experience. Reservations are a must and you'll probably have a short wait to be seated anyway. Don't worry the ambiance will entertain you during the wait. Service is excellent with the staff constantly on the move --- The Menu offers a good selection of Apps and Entres and a wide selection of Beers. Definitely a must try place.

    Lively atmosphere, excellent server (Coru). fun evening. The food was plentiful, just a bit bland for our taste. Excellent appetizers, good choice of beverages. Our party of 9 really enjoyed the evening.

    My 86 year old Dad and I, 61 years, have been visiting German Restaurants in the midwest. We thoroughly enjoed the experience at Schnitzel Platz. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Ambiance was enjoysble, inclding live entertainment by the accordion singer, which was not loud and was entertaining. We’ll be back!

    The Rouladen and German salad plate bring me right back to Oma and Opa's kitchen. Food is delicious and atmosphere is excellent. Accordion Mike kept us engaged and entertained and Emily was an amazing server, funny, kind, and patient. Thanks for making it a wonderful night to celebrate.

    We went to celebrate a birthday and we're very impressed. A lot of food for the price. There was live music but we could still have conversations. We'll definitely be back.

    Been awhile since we've been and as much as I don't need to eat it I missed the bread basket. Crackers just don't cut it. Germany is BREAD. The rest of our food was excellent as always but they were out of the Weissbier I wanted which was dissapointing.
