First opened in 2016 and located on Orchard Street, where the LES, Chinatown and Dimes Square converge, Scarr's Pizza has been called, "The best slice in New York." With a focus on all-natural and organic ingredients, owner and 2024 James Beard Nominee (Best Chef NY State) Scarr Pimentel has crafted not only the best tasting slice in the city, but the healthiest too. Skip the line, book a table and come in for a pie. There is a full bar and the dine-in menu features the crowd favorite Hotboi and Clark Kent as well as exclusive items like the Calzones.

Peu d'endroits peuvent prétendre rivaliser avec les pizzas de style new-yorkais préparées par le talentueux pizzaiolo Scarr Pimentel dans cet établissement innovant du Lower East Side. Une longue file d'attente attend quotidiennement de pouvoir goûter une part de cette exceptionnelle pâte à pizza, fabriquée avec la farine que Pimentel moud lui-même, mais celles et ceux qui ont réservé peuvent se glisser dans le restaurant. The waitress didn’t even take our order right even though we re-stated it 3 times. The pizza came out late and when we let her know the pizza order was wrong she rudely said do you want us to remake it? At that point we were over it and hungry, the pizza was not crispy at the bottom like they are known for and overall just wasn’t the best quality. This place just cares about vibes not quality dining experience. Won’t come back!

Hands down the best pizza. We tried the beef pepperoni pizza and it was excellent. Great service.

After all the publicity and buzz about the pizza here, we finally decided to go. Was excited that they now take reservations on Opentable so made one yesterday. The line for slices was crazy long but since we had a reservation, we walked in and got seated right away. Ordered a small Sicilian(four slices) and a small round margarita pie(six slices) with mushrooms, a salad, and two cocktails. The pies were not better than okay. Sorry, not deserving of the rave reviews I see every where. These instagrammers must be getting paid a lot of money. The salad was barely dressed and when we asked for more dressing, we got a tiny cup of a different dressing than was on the salad. We sat at the bar and had to flag down the bartender for basics-napkins, straws, forks--ridiculous! And the bill was over $100!! That is crazy. Should have just gotten a couple of slices but no one told us that was possible until we saw someone else get slices at the bar. Never going back.

Soooo🤔this was one of those pizza experiences where you might be temptedto say "let me order a small serving because.."pizza dough" but no...get what you want . This is great pizza in a cool atmosphere. The crust was light and indulgent and the ingredients were tasty. Our server was playing his playlist and it was great! I will definitely be back.

Love this place and the best part is I can make a reservation on open table and walk right in.

The food is fantastic, and we had a great meal. Unfortunately, the music was unpleasantly loud—our party couldn’t hear one another and our server wasn’t able to hear us when taking our order. We asked them to turn down the music but apparently this is against policy. We’ll be back for slices but we won’t be sitting down again.

This was the best pizza that we've had since the move. It was OUTSTANDING. (Service remains a challenge, though, and I'd happily pay 10% more per visit to cover outstanding servers, etc. May want to take a page from Pastis. Best servers in Manhattan.)
