    Slow service but the waiters were lovely people. Just either understaffed or not managed properly. Had to ask for cutlery. Food ranged from excellent - the burrata app and the octopus app were excellent, as were the steak and the squid ink lobster pasta - to less than great. The gnocchi was grainy. Bolognese was okay.

    The food was above average, but the service was unexpectedly poor. No attention to detail. We were seated well away from the entrance, despite the restaurant not being very busy. I have dined at the Miami Beach a few times, and the service was exceptional. I also ordered the scallops for dinner, and they were cut in half. Never have seen a presentation like this.

    Excellent italian food. Very short menu but very tasty one. Service was excellent. The arugula salad (with shrimp) was excellent. My partner had the beet salad with bread crumbs. The mix of the bread crumbs with the beets made the dish a bit on the saltier side. Table had the squid pasta with lobster and that was excellent. Table also had the lentils (in a red sauce) and they were extremely tasty , cabbage with capers(very good) and the carrots (tasty). The desserts were excellent as well (cheesecake was fantastic) as was the gelato trio! If you want superior service, good ambiance and superior italian food run to Scarpetta!

    There was a beautiful view of the park. The servers were very professional and friendly. The food was delicious and abundant. Highly recommended for a going out to dinner.

    Amazing dining experience. Incredibly fresh food with so much flavor. Beautiful views and such friendly and kind staff. Absolutely recommend and will be back with family and clients!

    The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Started with a very tasty beet salad which all enjoyed. Basil gnocchi and tagliatelle perfectly prepared and fresh and delicious! Wines by the glass were lovely, Barrola and an Italian white. Also the breads were wonderful! Ryan and Dominique were very professional and charming servers. Will definitely return!

    This was our first time dining at Scarpetta, and we can't wait to return. The food was outstanding and Ryan, our server, went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. It's location overlooking Rittenhouse Park was a very pleasant surprise. .
