Scala Osteria offers traditional Southern Italian, seafood-centered recipes meant to be shared with family and friends in our warm and vibrant dining room. Our menu is influenced by the traditional Italian osteria where creating simple yet delicious food is paramount, and our atmosphere is always inviting and full of life. From our beautiful oyster bar to our house-made pastas and Neapolitan style pizzas, we have something for everyone. We offer varying experiences, from folks grabbing a quick bite on their lunch hour, to couples stopping in to delight in our Oyster Bar, to parties spending hours enjoying delicious Southern Italian fare with perfectly paired wines. Sister restaurant to valley favorite, Bistro Don Giovanni, Scala Osteria is located on vibrant First Street in the heart of Downtown Napa. We are open daily for lunch, dinner from 11:30am to 10pm and late night service from 10-11pm.

Went to lunch with friends had an amazing lunch!! Food was outstanding. Water glasses stayed full Jorge was a magnificent busser. Tavo provides excellent service he is an exemplary server look forward to seeing him again at our next visit to Scala.

We were there to celebrated a handsome man birthday- we had too many friends come over that would more than they can fit on the table, but we glad that the manager and the staff able to get us in for handsome men s special birthday🎂 I highly recommended to this restaurant. Food are amazing. Service are excellent. The main thing that puffy doughnut is the bomb.😋😋, Ann Knudson

The overall experience was great. Amazing Italian Food. We started with a nice glass of prosecco with some oysters and bread. Our main dishes were great and we shared a big piece of tiramisu at the end with some amazing vin santo. The service was also great. The atmosphere could be improved by dimming the lights a little bit or turning of the big spots. Also the noise of the people inside was very loud. Some acoustic panels on the ceiling and under the table could maybe help.

Celebrating our anniversary, the team at Scala were so kind, they made our evening very special. The Food was great as always, Tuna Carpaccio was a highlight. Wonderful selection of wines available. The service from all staff was perfect, great balance of interaction and timing between courses.

We love Scala and the service is very accommodating and the food is good. Our only request is to get more fun appetizers. We had the fried olives but they were too strong and we could only eat two each and then we were bored with the dish. Good cocktails too!

For the past twenty years Bistro Don Giovanni has been my number one favorite in the Napa area, but now Scala’s has emerged and I have two favorites. The combination of great food and drink, amazing staff and always being consistent. Great appetizers, pastas and entrees; but always look forward to their specials of the day. I have never left Scala’s without a smile on my face, and totally get why it’s so successful🤙🏼
