Scala Osteria offers traditional Southern Italian, seafood-centered recipes meant to be shared with family and friends in our warm and vibrant dining room. Our menu is influenced by the traditional Italian osteria where creating simple yet delicious food is paramount, and our atmosphere is always inviting and full of life. From our beautiful oyster bar to our house-made pastas and Neapolitan style pizzas, we have something for everyone. We offer varying experiences, from folks grabbing a quick bite on their lunch hour, to couples stopping in to delight in our Oyster Bar, to parties spending hours enjoying delicious Southern Italian fare with perfectly paired wines. Sister restaurant to valley favorite, Bistro Don Giovanni, Scala Osteria is located on vibrant First Street in the heart of Downtown Napa. We are open daily for lunch, dinner from 11:30am to 10pm and late night service from 10-11pm.

The food was outstanding and the service even better. Shh don’t tell Don…. But Scala’s is better!!!

Scala was highly recommended and it did not disappoint! The pork chop Milanese was unforgettable, and the staff were amazing! Great night!

Very nice meal of Branzino, Petrale Sole, ravioli, lobster sauce pasta. Everything tasted good, including side veggies and calamari appetizer. Waitress was very pleasant and efficient. Sat upstairs which was quieter than downstairs, but still got noisy when it filled up. Very expensive dinner, with pricey appetizers and main entrees. Overall, a nice experience despite cost.

Wonderful food, service and drinks/wine selections! I had the Penne Pomodoro with Fresh basil and mozzarella balls and my husband had the clams...both plates went quickly into the clean plate club!

Overall food was good but did not blow our minds (or taste buds). The service was very good and surprisingly quick and the cocktails and wine were outstanding too. I would say good for trying out once, but will likely seek out different options the next time I visit Napa

Our favorite Italian restaurant outside of Italy. The menu is small so we knew the food was going to be amazing. They did not disappoint. Everything tasted fresh. Service was impeccable. A must stop and enjoy
