   I have just come from an afternoon tea in the Gallery and I am writing to confirm my disappointment in the quality of the food. I raised my disappointment with Dylan, who was the lovely server at our table, and he asked me to put my comments in working to you. In summary, the sandwiches were average. The ham was lovely but the three others and the two sort of amuse bouche were tasteless and quite stodgy. Also stodgy was one of the cakes with the pastry on another being hard and inedible. Considering I paid £240 for me and my friend for this, to have ended up leaving about half of it as it was tasteless was really bad. And what made it worse? Nothing was removed from my bill! I still had to pay the full amount. In summary, you are trading a bit in your name and excellent service; the tea itself is not at the standard Savoy should be setting for itself.

   Afternoon tea at the Savoy. Well you can’t knock the food. The sandwiches and cakes were spot on and the glass of champagne(which you pay extra for)was delicious. Staff obviously are very friendly and polite. Value for money probably not, but it was a one off experience for myself and the wife so we thought what the heck.

   For a 5* hotel I was pretty disappointed at the quality of the food and the portion sizes. I have been to afternoon tea before at The Shard and other high end hotels and I found this to be the least value for money. Overall a pretty underwhelming visit and can’t say I’ll be returning.

   Even the sandwiches tasted amazing!! Very attentive service. The service charge was steep, about £30, but overall a very special treat for a Saturday afternoon

   Excellent cocktails and good food. But the friendliness and professionalism of the staff made the visit a real treat. They were great.

   Let me start with the highlight: the service was top-tier fabulous. Our server was so attentive and fun, I’m convinced they moonlight as a party planner. Honestly, they deserved a standing ovation and maybe a tip in the form of a tiara. Now… the food. Oh dear. It wasn’t bad per se — no one cried — but it was about as exciting as watching paint dry on a beige wall. The sandwiches were aggressively mediocre, like they were made by someone who once saw a sandwich in a dream and tried to recreate it from memory. Desserts? Tragic. We were a table full of sugar fiends and didn’t finish a single one. That says a lot. It’s almost impressive, really. The heroes of the meal were the scones and lemon curd. Those? Those were divine. If the rest of the menu had their energy, this place would be legendary. But hey, we came, we sipped, we snacked, we scone’d — and we’ll always have the lemon curd.

   it was excellent !!! from reservations to the end , the staff is superlative kudos to Tianxi and Weiann the filipino manager, I wish my family was here with me but because what happened in Heathrow airport they were stranded

   Was a great experience with my daughter. Definitely an experience not to be missed. Food was excellent

   This was our very first high tea. This was out very first meal in London. This was our 50th anniversary celebration. All three were recognized and celebrated with by the staff. Chloe was a delight and really heightened the entire experience. The chef made a special 50th anniversary cake and plate presentation. Lovely lovely afternoon.

    It was fine but over stated for the price. I think you can find other options for a much better price.
