    There is something to be said about the art of service: It makes the meal such an enjoyable experience, especially when one is on the road. We were welcomed by valet-only parking by pros who were actually courteous. The maître d' was charming, showing us seating options with grace and humor, and we opted for inside-cool. Wait staff made us feel right at home, and worked with us crafting the perfect meal. The lobster cocktail is a must: perfectly chilled and sublime summertime hit. Out of Bronzino, the chef worked with us to wood-grill the salmon which was flavorful and moist. We ended with one of the best rocket salads ever, featuring blackberry, pistachio, goat cheese, and not too much strawberry vinaigrette: perfect. Accompanying all was this amazing focaccia — anything but “chalky” — with fresh rosemary: a true delight. Wine-by-the-glass had great options and featured a terrific Russian River Chardonnay we enjoyed. Always a delight to end a dinner with a decaf espresso and we were not let down: as wonderful as the rest of the meal. Savona delivered an excellent dining experience. Is now on our true “favorites list.” Afterward, we mentioned to a locally-residing relative what a wonderful meal and experience we had at Savona and learned Savona is a favorite of his, too.

    Kitchen was slow, but not bad. Arrival of drinks was very slow. Overall a good experience.

    I surprised my wife with dinner at Savona for our 38th wedding anniversary, and she was delighted with my choice! We had a wonderful celebration from start to finish. Our server immediately recognized our special occasion, which made us feel very welcome. The evening culminated in a beautifully decorated dessert plate with the dessert we ordered that read "Happy Anniversary," adding a special touch to our celebration. Overall, it was another fantastic experience at Savona!

    Kristin was our server and she was awesome! From the moment we walked in, everyone there was so friendly. Food was excellent, too. Highly recommend!

    My husband and I had lunch at Savona recently while traveling. We ordered the house salad, pizza and eggplant Parmesan. Everything was absolutely delicious. Best eggplant Parmesan we've ever eaten. Our waiter was excellent. Next time we're in the area, we will definitely dine here again.

    We loved the tuna tartare appetizer and the fried artichokes. Our main course of a bone in pork chop was very disappointing. It was overcooked, dry and tough. This was a special occasion choice and we won’t be back for a while.
