Saverina is a neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Belleview Station. Chef Christian Graves brings the spirit of Italian cooking to your plate by way of local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Our wine list, with a focus on Italian labels and California reds, is the highlight of our beverage program, but we can’t help but champion our thoughtful selection of local beers, classic cocktails, and aperitifs. The food is excellent, especially the Foccacia bread and the Chile flake/tomatoe and mozarella appetizer. We also enjoyed the Pasta's as well as the Hallibut. Wine choices are excellent. Our server was darling and very accomodating, The only complain we have is the ambiance is lacking. The lights are way too bright (would really help to dim the lights and add some nice candles on the tables). Also, the room is quite large and becomes quite noisy. Not sure if there is a way to fix that. Overall, a very positive experience and a great addition to the DTC area.

This was a delicious experience! We had the most amazing pepperoni pizza, pasta, and deserts. The restaurant is beautiful and so modern. We will be back!

The food was very good but overpriced for small portions. Upon entering the restaurant there was a definite grease trap odor. Luckily the odor was not noticeable in the dining area,

We were hoping to like this restaurant since it’s in our area and we enjoy Italian food. Unfortunately, there were just too many hiccups in service and quality that led to a poor experience. I’m writing a very detailed review so that management can read and improve. When we arrived to our reservation, we explained to the waitress that we were all very hungry and we would like to put in an order for a starter right away. We discussed details of the order, including one modification, and then confirmed we would look at the drink menu and order those next when she came back. After drinks were ordered and delivered, we asked if the starter would be coming soon. She then told us she hadn’t ordered the starter since we needed to order drinks first. At that point we realized that she was so accustomed to the meal progressing in a specific order that she was not comfortable accommodating requests outside of that. Perhaps she was very new to serving. Unfortunately, the service didn’t improve after that. Our waitress was hard to find and we were served food without silverware, causing us to wait around until we could find someone to help us. When entrees were cleared away, we were not offered coffee or dessert. Instead we were just given the bill. There were some stand outs for the food, including the chicken entree and the caesar salad. Both were great. But the side of carrots were very undercooked. We ordered two the angel hair pasta and one was so salty we couldn’t eat it. The portion sizes for the pastas were also way too small for the price. I hope this place can improve. It’s beautiful inside and the manager seemed enthusiastic and energized when she said hello to us. There seems like a lot of potential id they can dial in the execution of the menu and improve service.

We could not have asked for nicer, more attentive service from everyone we interacted with. It is a beautiful setting. Overall we both felt the food was average and overpriced. The pasta dishes were very small ( think maybe a cup’s worth ) especially for the price ( $14-$20). The pasta was tough and not very flavorful. I would not have known the pesto one had any pesto in it. The artichoke appetizer also lacked much flavor and again, 4 small artichokes for $19 overpriced. I also had the halibut. The fish was well prepared and was about 5oz. I had them sub their sautéed spinach for potatoes. The spinach was not cooked but rather barely blanched and the tomatoes that come with the dish were cold. While we both loved the ambience and the staff, we both agreed that we didn’t see ourselves returning.

First time visit and we were not disappointed! Service was excellent, thank you Sarah. Dinner was amazing, thank you back of the house. Chef surprised us with a couple extra additions of his choice, everything served was delightful. Atmosphere, while I was concerned we were in the hotel I totally forgot as we settled in. Will be making another visit soon to explore more of the menu. Thank you everyone for a great evening out.

Restaurant was not that busy so it made it seem sterile but service was great, accommodated all our needs. Not that many red wine options at the mid range price point 50-75. Food - pasta were very fresh and flavorful!

Food portions are small but great because no one can eat those huge portions a lot of restaurants service you. Prices were good and the food was good as well, we will go back and to end the evening, go up to the 19th floor to HALO (roof top) it was awesome and outside and views are great and fire pits keep you warm
