Had an enjoyable evening at Savanna. Live music and food were wonderful. Sherry was our waitress, she was great. We will definitely be back.

There were ants all over the patio, and the service was sub par. Food was less than average. And we were the only table there. Server was horrible.

First, it is the Zoo restaurant, just fyi. It was mostly empty, maybe because there was potential for storms, so it was very quiet. The wine selection was surprisingly good, but the food was mediocre. The prices were for a fine dining experience but the ambiance and food quality was very much like "outback". Overall, it was a pleasant experience but I believe it is overpriced for what it is.

An amazing experience. Everything from the service to the food was fantastic! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The food was probably the best I have had since moving here and I am excited to go back again. My ribeye was perfectly cooked and fall apart in your mouth tender. Everything we ate was perfect!

What a hidden gem! Do not miss this dining experience! The menu is robust with something for everyone and the food is fantastic. If you are lucky, you can catch a glimpse of a lion or tiger too!

Tastes like a bunch of frozen food that was heated and a jar of bland sauce was added. Terrible. Sat and watched the hostess and waitress and others eat their dinner behind an open curtain.

What a surprisingly great experience we had at Savanna. Why a surprise? First, our dinner was on a Saturday night and the restaurant and parking lot were practically empty when we arrived; usually those are sure signs of trouble ahead. Second, an empty restaurant is especially perplexing at peak season of a beach town. But… we were wrong in our concern. Service excellent. Food (grilled grouper and 6 oz filet) were cooked beautifully. The house merlot was peppery and fresh (as opposed to that stale taste you can often encounter when a house red has been open too long). I suppose another surprise was the price for food: the filet was $36 and the fresh grouper $32 seemed bargains compared to what high quality steak and fish cost in most restaurants these days. Plus, both entrees came with two tasty sides. So, why was the restaurant empty? My guess is that the location is a challenge. It’s a hike from the beach and not exactly easy to find for out-of-towners like us. In fact, had it not been one of the few area restaurants on Open Table, we never would have found it. In sum, a wonderfully surprising meal and experience.
