   Food was very good. As with the last time, service was not quite as sharp. Waiter forgot to place one of our appetizer orders and had to be reminded a couple of times about some things we had asked for. Very friendly , though,. We would go back but probably rather try other places we have not been first.

   The food was amazing. The wine was also. There were a few things on the menu I would have gotten, but the special was awesome. 10/10!

   I have never had a bad experience here and will always highly recommend this place. It’s quaint and above central on the second floor. I finally was able to sit outside and the weather was great. We went on a Thursday for half priced salads and pasta and split one each as well as the focaccia. The focaccia is always fluffy on the inside and a nice crispy on the outside. We had the pasta alla casa (pasta of the day) and it was fresh and vibrant. The homemade pasta had the right texture and chew of al dente. The chophouse salad was good, but a little too heavy on the gorgonzola for us and it felt like that was all we could taste after a few bites. Our server was knowledgable and he had great banter with us. Overall amazing!

   Hidden above the bars on the street, this is a gem of low key vibes. The wait staff are attentive and great at helping find the perfect selection. The regulars are friendly. The wines selection is diverse and has something for everyone. The charcuterie boards are a perfect starter. The entrees perfectly portioned to be filling but not too large. Make sure to save room for the fresh made to order tarte tartin that's big enough to share.

   While we love going to happy hour/dinner at Sauvignon, but the brunch is also worthy. The service from Kalyn at the bar is attentive and friendly. The smash burger (only available at brunch) is outstanding, and the buttermilk pancakes are absolutely some of best in the area. The bacon is also high quality and delicious. Highly recommended for great wine and food (great beer selections too)!

   First, the waitress was outstanding. She was the only thing that was good about this meal. To start, the octopus they had as an appetizer on the on-line menu was no longer available and they had just not updated their menu. The ribeye steak was the poorest quality Ive experienced... tough, stringy, full of huge chunks of fat ( far from marbling), the dull as butter knife steal knives left us having to saw and eventually tear apart the steak sections they had precut into strips, the grilled Brussel sprouts had been over cooked until they were just charcoal, the roasted potatoes were tough and over cooked as well. This was supposed to be a special occasion dinner that was a disaster. This meal fir 3 ended up costing $565, which should have been enough for at least an average dinner. Don't waste your time and money, just go to Bern's.

   Great friends in for a visit. Day 1 !! Sat on balcony was great. shared a few thing. Happy Hr. Wine by the glass.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our pre-theatre dinner here while also taking advantage of 1/2 off happy hour prices on glasses of wine we might not normally order. Kimberly was an amazing server: attentive without being intrusive, keeping our water glasses full, and not rushing us to place our orders. Everything is made in house and they were very accommodating of my gluten allergy.
