Chef Carta brings the authentic simple elegance of the Sardinian dining tradition to your table. Sardinian cuisine is known for the purity of food and flavors. To insure the authenticity of the dining experience Chef has imported an authentic hood wood-burning oven for the kitchen. The menu is focused on farm fresh and locally grown food. Chargrilled meats and local fish will be cooked in the oven as it is in Sardinia. Taste the Sardinia bread, know as Pane carasau, baked fresh daily which welcomes you at your table. The pasta dough is also made fresh daily. Revel in the authentic Sardinian paella made with fregola and enjoy the unique flavor of bottarga. To maximize the pleasure of sharing good food with good friends, Sardinia has 45 seats- 24 in the main dining room, a chefs table for 10 and 13 seats in the bar area. Good food-good conversation-good friends. A true Sardinia experience you will not forget.

By far one of the best Italian restaurants in SRQ. So fresh and delicious! And the chef comes out to chat!!! Definitely a ‘locals’ spot - that’s how you know it’s good, too ❤️

Wonderful experience. We’ve been several times. The food is always excellent. They prepare their food in the manner of Sardinia and not Italian. We highly recommend Sardinia. The staff by the way are professional, warm and knowledgeable. 5 Stars indeed!!

Wait staff was very attentive. The atmosphere is fine dining and intimate. The salad (spinach) wasn't anything special. The seafood pasta dish was enjoyed by a few at our table but stated they had better elsewhere. The pasta with fava beans was delicious and unique. Nice touch having the wood oven cracker type bread basket. Overall, a bit pricey, limited menu, but nice atmosphere and wait staff!

This place is always great. we are snow birds and come to Florida every winter from Kansas City. We eat here at least once every year. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love coming here. From the moment we are greeted when we walk in until we are thanked when we leave , it is perfect. The Wood fired branzino is like no other. If you’ve never had it prepared like that , and love fresh fish , this is where you should have it. Their mushrooms in cheese cup unique and delicious. Everyone here is wonderful!!!!

Food at Sardinia continues to be very good. Service is stretched thin and in Season the decibels are extreme, but we will continue coming back!
